A Very Nice Place To Spend Some Time.I think you can entertain yourself and learn a bit too on this site. There are the games (some of which have job-type themes doctors, firefighters etc.) and others which are puzzle and action. Down the bottom there are daily facts, pictures, stories and stuff which are a real bonus.

I have used this site on my phone quite a lot on the way to work (fine so long as you have reasonable reception) and the games are good. A lot are easy for the first few levels then get hard on the brain, so probably aimed at older users, not younger kids. Very enertaining and good mental exercise.
If you look at sites which offer free online games (without quickly having to pay out for extras) Friv is surely a good bet. Everyone has different views about violence in games, but these are all pretty tame. We haven't seen any games with blood in for example.
