Prince of Persia Classic is a beloved classic action game that offers players numerous levels of varying difficulty while optimizing the prince's movement smoothness and graphics, evoking nostalgic gaming memories. The game provides a tutorial level to help players master the basic gameplay and controls, allowing them to better tackle more challenging levels. Players need to skillfully control the prince to move, jump, and block, using rapid button presses to unleash combos and defeat enemies. What are you waiting for? Come and relive the fun of this classic game!
The main objective of the player is to lead the unnamed protagonist out of dungeons and into a fortress tower within 60 minutes (or 120 in the SNES version as it features 10 extra levels). This cannot be done without bypassing traps and fighting hostile swordsmen. The game consists of twelve levels (though some console versions have more). After a player reaches level 2, a game session may be saved and resumed at a later time.
The player has a health indicator that consists of a series of small red triangles at the bottom of the screen. The player starts with three. Each time the protagonist is damaged (cut by sword, falls from two floors of heights, or gets hit by a falling rock), the player loses one of these indicators. There are small jars containing potions of several colors and sizes. The red potions scattered throughout the game restore one health indicator. The blue potions are poisonous, and they take one life indicator as damage. There are also large jars of red potion that increase the maximum number of health indicators by one, and large jars of green potion that grant a temporary ability to hover. In level 9, there are also two large green potions, one which turns the game display upside-down, and another to restore the display back to normal. If the player's health is reduced to zero, the protagonist dies. Subsequently, the game is restarted from the beginning of the level in which the protagonist died but the timer will not reset to that point, effectively constituting a time penalty. There is no counter for the number of lives, but if time runs out, the princess will be gone and the game will be over, with exceptions below.
There are three types of traps that the player must bypass: spike traps, deep pits (three or more stories deep) and guillotines. Getting caught or falling into each results in the instant death of the protagonist. In addition, there are gates that can be raised for a short period of time by having the protagonist stand on the activation trigger. The player must pass through the gates while they are still open, avoiding locking triggers. Sometimes, there are various traps between an unlock trigger and a gate.
Hostile swordsmen (Jaffar and his guards) are yet another obstacle. The player obtains a sword in level 1, which they can use to fight these adversaries. The protagonist's sword maneuvers are as follows: advance, back off, slash, parry, or a combined parry-then-slash attack. Enemy swordsmen also have a health indicator similar to that of the protagonist. Killing them involves slashing them until their health indicator is depleted or by pushing them into traps while fighting.

Explore Mount Qaf as Sargon: You play as Sargon of the Immortals as you search for Prince Ghassan. The world of Mount Qaf is filled with time touched enemies and mythic creatures that guard key paths and secrets. Areas connect in a layered map that rewards curiosity. Each new path adds context to the setting and pushes the rescue forward.
Time Powers with responsive combat and platforming: Prince of Persia Classic blends Time Powers with movement and fighting. You chain attacks and mobility to form practical combos that clear obstacles and open routes. Puzzles tie into traversal, which encourages testing abilities as they grow. Hidden treasures and optional rooms give reasons to return to earlier locations.
Mobile first controls and interface: The mobile version focuses on comfort for touch screens. You can remap buttons, change their position, adjust shape, and set size to match your grip. The interface respects tall and wide displays, with support for screen ratios from 16:9 to 20:9. Important prompts and icons stay readable without crowding the view.
Controller support and offline play: If you prefer physical inputs, external controllers are supported for a console like feel. Touch controls remain fully usable when a controller is not available. Gameplay continues without an internet connection, which helps during travel or when service is limited. Progress remains local until the next time you go online, if you choose to sync.

Level 1: Your first level is very easy. Get the sword, which is to the left from where you start and then go to the exit which just to the right of where you start. Practice your sword techniques on the guard. Remember to watch for unstable floors.
Level 2: Straightforward. Watch out for floor spikes. Beware of the blue potion which will DECREASE your life count. There is an energy expander here so don't forget to get it.
Level 3: This will be one of the toughest levels. From where you start, go to the right and climb to the top using the center segment. Now, you must do a jump of faith to the right. You will find that there is a floor when you land. You will also discover a step-block which will open the gate far to the left. There is also a energy expander in the area to the right. When you are ready, jump on the step-block and BURN RUBBER to the left! You will have little time before the door starts to close. Do a running jump over the large hole then one final jump near the door and hang on to that ledge. Hopefully, the door will almost be closed so you can pull yourself up. After that, it is very straightforward. When you confront the "LIVE" skeleton, keep hitting until it falls off the ledge. Then climb down after it and keep hitting it until it falls to it's doom.
Level 4: Very straightforward. Watch out for loose floors and be sure to get the energy expander. When you confront the mirror, you will have to execute a run-jump through it. You will pass through but your shadow will come out the other side and will create a lot of trouble for you.
Level 5: Straightforward. There is an energy expander here but you will soon find out what will happen to it. You will have to experiment with this level before you can finish it.
Level 6: Straightforward. Beware of the master guard (he is fat) for he will slice you up if you are not good enough. At the end, your shadow will create mischief once more...
Level 7: You start out falling so press the button to grab onto the ledge. Continue onto the right until you reach the ledge with a large whole with another ledge far to the right. Climb down the ledge, fall, and grab onto the ledge. Continue to the right. If you can't continue, go back and fall down another ledge for it will lead you to the same place. When you drink the blue potion, the room will turn purple and you will turn green. Run off to the left and you will float slowly down... DO NOT go into the exit because their is an energy expander just to the right.
Level 8: Straightforward but very hard. Be quick but be patient for a friend of the princess will help you.
Level 9: If you drink the green potion, your vision will be distorted. To regain normalness, find another blue potion and drink it. Be sure to get the energy expander.

Don't listen to the other reviews!! This game is awesome! I'm on level 7 now and I absolutely love it!! I can't wait to see the upcoming outfits for the character too. It may not be as challenging as the other ketchapp games, but considering I'm only on 7, it's extremely possible that it will get more challenging as you get farther into the game. Definitely 5 stars for this game!! You've done it again ketchapp and you rock!!!
I'll give it 5 stars mostly because the game itself is great, the only problem me and pretty much everyone else seems to have is the newest bug added to level 13. I'm hoping someone is able to reach out to the devs and let them know they need to do another bug fix because otherwise I dont think there will be much of a reason to play this anymore. However, even though there is a game-breaking bug that will most likely get fixed soon, I don't think that deserves for it to get a one star.
By far the best android game out there, i am a console gamer through and through but for an android experience this game will keep you engrossed. On level 35 this game is a pleasure to play, graphics are very good, small detailing of loose steps falling and the sound of the channel opening to move ahead adds to the experience. No matter how well you play this game the game gets you at somepoint or the other and then you start the, level all over. The jumps have to be precise, brilliant game.
Overall, the game is really good. However, there seems to be a glitch that occurs. In level 13, I immediately die after the stairs at the start; therefore, I cannot progress. The reason why I'm giving the game a 5 star rating is because it controls well, and it has nice visuals overall.
Controls are tight and responsive in Prince of Persia Classic. You control the Prince's movements in four directions in this 2D platformer. Three action buttons allow you to run, jump or crouch. Jumping near a ledge allows you to climb up to the next level. New timed and survival modes add some extra play value for veterans of the game.
