Strategies of FIFA Football:

Slow things down, don't rush the pass, don't sprint too much.

In defense, whenever possible, I try to control the CDM (or a CM on the flanks) and let the AI controlling the defenseman. Sometimes, I press L1 asking my CB to press the opponent.

Driven passes (R1+X ; R1+Triangle; R1+L1+Triangle): the last one is the driven lobbed through ball, I find this more efficient that a regular lobbed through ball.

Asking teammate to run forward (L1): before doing a through or lobbed through ball to a striker, press L1 few times to make them running forward.

Finesse or trivelas shot from far: R1+shot or L2+shot if the player has the trait ''outside foot''

Subs: when I started, I didn't want to waste the player contract so I rarely substitute my players in 2nd half, as result I suffered a bit in late game. Now at 60-70 minutes mark, I tend to sub 3-4 players. And at 80 min mark, I may sub 1-2 more if needed. The refreshed legs do help.

Back pass. Sometimes, don't risk the pass forwards. Make a pass backwards and see if you have better options.

Trivelas passes: with long passes, I really like to use L2+Square. It's more precise than just Square. I also use L2+X/Triangle, but much less than L2+Square.

This is personal: since I have trouble with the header, for the corner, I press R1 to call a teammate for a short pass.

In the box, when there`s not much option. Try tapping X twice, or Triangle twice. I don't think that kind of passes increases its chance of success (being intercepted less). I find them useful to have the correct force. In the tight pass, sometimes I have problem passing the ball too slow (so easily intercepted), or too strong (takes more time, so the opponent has time to tackle; or the receiver bounces the ball). The double X could correct those cases. Secondly, that kind of passes seem to put the shooter in better position to shoot, they seem to shoot better when the ball is bit high.

Not always, but to me, shooting into the far side is better than the near side.

In the offensive box, use L2 to protect the ball.

Against great dribbler, I tend to be less aggressive. I don't run to them, I let them coming to me. I don't abuse tackle, I time my tackle more.

No Doubt this game is too much Good, but sometimes it's too bad whenever we play with somebody else, in that case we face a glitch and network issue everytime, and also it's have a bug problem when a player touch or pass a ball , in that case player losses the ball or sometimes the players through the ball other detection. Best game in playstore. I have been playing this game for 2 years and 18 days. but the recent event does not improve the game I ruined it. It has ruined players acceleration feels like they are carrying 20kg in there back without a leg. they are focusing to make this game p2w everyday. A player is only good if it has golden playstyle which is super hard to get old cards are nerfed. Please improve this game ea.

This is a good game.We can play with our friends at any time but we can't sell the players which we get from pack opening and sometimes when I take the ball and run towards the goal post my controller sometimes doesn't work at all till it goes out of line behind the goal post.
