Life is a Game is a life simulation game where players can experience the full spectrum of life. Starting as a baby, players navigate the cycle of birth, aging, illness, and death. Using a parkour-like approach, the game provides an immersive experience. A 2D sandbox game, despite its simple gameplay, it offers a sense of growth and personal development, providing a simulated experience of life's crossroads. Give it a try!
The controls in Life is a Game are relatively simple. In the lower part of the screen, you have all the action buttons. With the two on the right, you can make decisions and jump (a key move in reaching elements you want to grab). On the left, you have three other buttons to activate the results of your choices.
Your character starts out the game as a baby, having you try to grab bottles and little else. But as you advance, you'll evolve through different life stages: childhood, adolescence, adulthood, old age, and eventually, death. Just like in real life, death is inevitable, but your actions will dictate how you reach it.

WALK THROUGH A CONDENSED LIFE AND SEE THE VARIOUS ENDINGS!
Life is a Game is a simulation game that starts from babyhood, goes through boyhood, student, adolescence, and ends the life of this world. Make friends, devote yourself to your hobbies, connect with a lover, and achieve results at work… Let’s experience various events in life. The ending that looks back on the life that flows when you die will change depending on what you have played. Let’s try out what kind of life you will spend in the game.
RUN ACTION STYLE ACTION IS BASIC
When the game starts, it automatically scrolls to the right. As we progress, we grow older. Use your jumps to collect items in the air to increase your talent stats and affect your future life. If you work, you can get money, but your physical stats such as health and happiness will decrease. Take care of your body so that you don’t accumulate too much stress.
REAL-TIME DECISIONS ARE KEY
Thru is also an option. No honeymoon required? You are forced to make choices at the crossroads of life, such as the scene where you buy your own house and the scene where you confess to your marriage partner. It’s a function that reflects the player’s will, but there’s no time to worry about it because it keeps running until it dies during the game. Just like in real life, you have to make decisions on the spur of the moment.
ALLOWS YOU TO ENJOY A VARIETY OF LIFE EXPERIENCES IN A SHORT SPAN!
Depending on your lifestyle, you may not have family or friends when you die. This work partially extracts the pleasures of a long life, and you can experience what-if life. It is built with various elements such as more than 10 types of occupations, contact with family, friendships, and lifetime annual income, and branches into different developments each time.
But it’s impossible to do everything right. I have to cut my hobbies and friends, and I won’t know what was right until I die. Do you want to be proud of your splendid life, or do you regret that you want to start over? Because there are good and bad, the feeling of being able to reach an ideal ending is even more impressive.
VERSATILE AND HIGHLY ADDICTIVE
There is also a considerable depression development in it. While games that use life as a theme tend to take a long time until the ending, this work can be played in about 10 minutes per play. It’s easy to collect routes because you can play repeatedly, and I’m glad you can easily aim for completion. There are about 60 types of endings alone, and you can enjoy the subtle changes each time.

The game will make you feel sad and happy in just a few minutes, living a life with so much uncontrollable factors just like real life. Still, I agree with some other reviewers that this game urgently needs a tutorial. Despite there's only a few buttons to press, the game has so many unexplained elements that, for some, can be very confusing.
Some typos when switching chatecters. other than that from the start, [[[[[Spoilers]]]] the idea of choosing to have a guardian or not, ..and not choosing it making it difficult for the child to get happiness. This was such a nice way of showing what we have. Having to squeeze in time to balance hobbies and relationships. it's nice to try out the various combinations of how you can mess up or possibly do well in life. It is short, but imo, that's all the time we have in life. Loved playing it.
I adore this game. It hits really hard, and the art also does a great job! I was at a low point while playing this, and it feels so much better to enjoy this a little. I would say, that the game is based on replayability, but each run is pretty short, like 5 minutes. So if there was an option to get a longer run, say 15 minutes, the game would be a lot more fun to replay. really great concept devs. it's executed in a way that's much better than bitlife simulator too.

Life is a Game is a simple 2D platformer where you practically have to live a person's entire life, making all sorts of important decisions along the way. And just like in real life, reaching old age doesn't always depend 100% on your own actions.
