Make lots of money without cheating- pretty simple- just own a few businesses then continuously save till it goes past 3:30, step outside, then back in and free money.
Gang system- You are always going to get chased down and shot on the second land but its better to be constantly chased down by the bikers than the the sharks so take out all the sharks businesses first then you will only get chased by the sharks, which are easier to deal with
You can use R3/start mission etc using a vigilante/paramdeic etc vehicle to stop a gang attack. Unfortunately I think sometimes the gang will take it over.
Buy only low adventure business, because they get attacked less frequently (so I am told) and money isnt an issue in the game.
How to take over businesses easily:Complete the firefighter mission. This itself is easy. Go to the airport and start the mission as far away as possible. Once done and on the second land. Buy the business next to the molotov spawn between the trees and near the beach. Run back and forth whilst saving to get as much as possible. Now you can just molotov the businesses to death without getting burned yourself.
For Papi Dont Screach- Instead of heading east of the stadium where the main roads are just go south and follow the perimiter of the city past the the place when Vance was tortured in VC, to avoid most of the sentries.
Unfriendly Competition- stock up on rocket launcher ammo and grenades. Head immediately to the beach and lobby the grenades into the pool area whilst rocket launchering any women who are on a balcony.
Light My Pyre- One of the hardest missions of the game. Dont engage with the enemy cars, because your tires will be shot. Instead drive ahead of Lance and rocket launcher each enemy car.
Last Stand- pretty simple but when you get to the final floor- stand in the middle of the orange wall partition. When the helicopter stops shooting rocket launcher it but dont hit the plant!
The Exchange- if you find the sniper controls too sensitive use a rocket launcher instead, whilst standing on the car. Not only do you not need to be accurate but it will kill them even if they are hiding on the wall. After, drive the van up the slope and grenade the 2 cars that will come for you. Get back in and drive to Starfish Island via motorway.
Kill Phill Part 2- There is a bike immediately to your right inside. First time I played it I had no idea! ride the cycle through the entire building but dont fall off the stage. Avoid the armor spawn untill you are on the way back and you really need it. When you get to the final bit you wont have time to snipe them from distance. Just go Rambo.
Tune out Turn in, Bug Out- Once you have taken out the first transmitter- take the helicopter to the next station but do not land on it but instead the building next to it and which is higher up. The reason is there is a helicopter that will be waiting for you and will shoot you/and or the helicopter. Instead rocket launcher the helicopter first then the transmitters. Do the same again with the final station but fly the helicopter along the waters and onto Starfish Island to get a car. Cars on the street can be hard to come by but there are spawns on Starfish Island. Drive the car to the Pay'N'Spray.

Vice city is just an amazing upgrade from GTA 3, the story is better, the setting is better ( I love the 80s ), the music is better, the main character actually talks now, tommy vercetti one of the best, maybe the best in the franchise. You can buy properties and make money from them, they also come with their own separate missions, motorbikes are now in the game, the map is expanded from previous title.I own and played this multiple times before, this remaster didn't put me off, i really enjoy playing it with the improvements made to it. Buy it on sale though, the 60 GBP they ask for all 3 is a little too high.
Really good game, defo recommend this game highly to paly the main story as it is a vibe with its 80s aesthetic and elite radio stations. However, in my playthrough I had trouble with some of the key mechanics as I didn't realise you had to buy the businesses and do their asset missions to further progress the game, as I thought they were just optional side quests. As well as this I really don't like the lock-on gunplay some of the weapons have as it locks onto the target and won't allow you to select another target. During my 100% completion run, some of the side missions were tedious and unnecessarily long and hard, as well as some of the stunt jumps such as the starfish island one taking nearly 2 hours to complete. I looked through various of guides and they all used the PCJ-600 and most of the guides managed to glitch the stunt jump without even completing it, whereas when I did it flawlessly it would not complete. This was until I changed to a Sanchez and it made it a little bit easier. For the torture of the 100% run of the game i think it's a deserving 8 rusty brown's ring donuts out of 10.
Coming from GTA III's Liberty City, Vice City feels more relaxing. Not only the stunning sunshine at the tropical beach, but the whole vibe of this city. And all girls walk like models. The music is top tier. Not only its own score, but the radio station playlists too. I even barely skipped the opening scene because the theme's just so good. Do I just love the 80s image too much? I didn't even get to live in it.For the first time there are bikes to ride, helicopters and sea planes to fly, phone calls on your cell to answer, properties to purchase, and a protagonist who can talk."Tommy Vercetti, remember the name!" R.I.P. Ray Liotta. As for the gameplay, Vice City shares pretty much the same mechanic as GTA 3. There's no checkpoint in missions. You have to start over if you fail. But they're not that harshly designed like GTA 3. Still can be frustrating sometimes. Cars on the street still suddenly turn or change lanes, only slightly less crazy than GTA 3. And the camera shake still gives me motion sickness.Overall, it's a good game. The storyline, the world design, the vibe, are influenced by a lot of movies, TV shows, etc. They did a great work putting them altogether into this game. It's no surprise this game became a success and an influence itself.
