Helltaker is a fun adventure puzzle game where players take on the role of a messenger from hell, embarking on a journey to build a demon harem. Players must explore diverse dungeons, avoiding traps and solving puzzles within a limited number of turns to find the demon girl and correctly answer her questions, thus adding her to their harem. Besides puzzle levels, the game also features boss battles where players must carefully navigate chains while unleashing projectile attacks. The correctness of the player's answers will lead to different storylines and endings. Will you successfully build your harem or fail miserably?
The Helltaker: A buff muscular man who ends up in Hell trying to build a harem of demon girls.
Azazel/Loremaster: A curious angel who traveled there to study and collect info on Demons. In the bonus chapter Examtaker, Azazel stays in hell and becomes the new ruler.
Beelzebub: A self-absorbed demon who was banished to the Abyss by Lucifer. She also serves as the narrator of the game.
Cerberus: A excitable triple-bodied demon who has one soul living within and controlling all three of them.
Judgement: A loud demon who identifies as the High Prosecutor of Hell. She also serves as the final boss fight in Helltaker. In a comic released on Piskorz's social media it's revealed that she's the fallen angel Samael.

Lucifer: A demon who is the queen and CEO of hell, In Examtaker she serves as a maid under Loremaster (Azazel).

Challenging Puzzle Mechanics: Navigate through grid-based levels reminiscent of Sokoban, where each move counts. Push blocks, avoid traps, and outmaneuver skeleton soldiers to reach your goal within a limited number of moves.
Humorous Dialogue Choices: Engage in conversations with demon girls, where your responses can lead to success or humorous failure. Choose wisely to win their hearts and add them to your harem.
Stylish Visuals and Soundtrack: Enjoy a striking monochrome art style with bold red accents, complemented by a catchy and energetic soundtrack composed by Mittsies.
Multiple Endings and Secrets: Discover hidden keys and ancient inscriptions to unlock secret endings, adding replayability and depth to the game.
Engaging Characters: Meet a diverse cast of demon girls, each with distinct personalities and backstories. From the tired and coffee-loving Pandemonica to the lustful Modeus, the characters add depth and charm to the gameplay.

Apparently the creator of this game has a little kink for demon girls in suits, however there wasn't a lot quality art/lewds/rule34 of it, and he made this game so he could attract people and most importantly artists, so they would lewd his characters. As a fellow weeb and degenerate, I really respect that.*Ahem* the game itself is actually pretty good considering its free. The artstyle is simple, but good, the music is actually pretty catchy and the puzzles are a bit on the harder side, but still very enjoyable. It's a game about collecting your ultimate Demon-girl harem, so stop reading reviews and just go play it.
I struggled on some puzzles but I managed to finish the game, it is not that bad. The choice is kinda weird, I messed it up somehow and the EX puzzles are pretty easy comparing to the main ones, most of the parts were about flexibility skill. Overall the game is free so it's really good.
Helltaker is exactly what I'm looking for in a game. For free.I love the artstyle. Despite using just few colours, blocky shapes and thick lines it perfectly portrays different personalities and emotions of each of the demon girls. It's great for gameplay too. Very clear, easy to read AND creates a consistent atmosphere. In retrospective, you can tell the author is a bit sadistic. Or masochistic? Possibly both But the game is still SUPER FUN and satysfying to play. The puzzles are hard, but not impossible. For the most part you can take your time boping to the music or even skip them!Almost forgot the music Go show some support to Mittsies, as he nailed it! It's (seemingly) simple, rythmic, insanely addictive.
Someone had the brilliant idea of making your usual pale, smug anime villainess that's still too moe to hate into the main attraction of the experience and lo and behold, it's good. Not bad specially for someone who finds this type of character more friend-shaped than anything. The game is simple but pretty charming, with lots of fun jokes regarding its quirky characters. My only issue is that the special chapter lacks the dialogue options that led to some of the funniest exchanges in the base game.

Chapter One: The first lady of the underworld to join the harem will be hell's secretary Pandemonica, but three skeletons stand in your way to her as well as four blocks just beyond them.To beat this stage you need to go left and down.Keep going left until you've kicked the first skeleton into the wall, killing him, and then go left once more until you're against the wall yourself.Next, head all the way down and to the left and kick the bottom left block to the right, then kick the one above it upwards.Go up and head to the upper right block, kicking it out of your way, then offer her your services and Pandemonica will be all yours.
Chapter Two: Modeus, the Lustful Demon is your next target and her stage introduces the spike traps that will reduce your movement number by one for every time you step on their space.Run straight through the first trap and kill the skeleton just like you did to the one in the first chapter. With him out of your way, go through the top right spike trap and kick the right block as far down as it will go, then head straight left and down until you reach Modeus. To make this sin a little less deadly, tell her you're busy gathering girls to move on to the next chapter.
Chapter Three: Your goal here is to tame all three heads of the Cerberus triplets. No blocks here, but you'll have to wade through skeletons, traps, and a lock.To find the key, head all the way left, all the way down, and left and up to release the lock. Then simply head straight right and straight up to collect your third demon girl. Needless to say, you should let them all come with you, no questions asked.
Chapter Four: Malina the Sour Demon stands at the end of a corridor of blocks and spikes, plus another lock and collectible you may miss even if you clear the stage.Kick the block right in front of you downwards, then go right and you'll have another block below you that you need to kick down.Next, you go down and right, then kick the block above you into the spikes. Go up and right then kick the block below you downwards and go down and right. This is where the game starts getting tricky. Kick the block above you upwards, closing you off from the key; you don't need it.Then go up and kick the block under the lock to the right before moving right yourself and kick the block below you. Go down and you'll have a block with an unusual marking to your immediate right. Kick it to reveal an ancient inscription, collect it, then kick the block above you and go up to meet Malina. All you need to do now is remember that you need to invite her to play turn-based strategy games with you in order to turn this sourpuss sweet.
Chapter Five: If you thought Cerberus was the bitch demon you were wrong, as that distinction belongs to Chapter 5's Zdrada. Her stage introduces spike traps that lower and raise each time you move.Head straight down, kicking the first skeleton into the spike trap to kill him. Then go all the way to the right, but be sure to kick the block above you before grabbing the key beneath you to make maneuvering through the traps easier.Move straight up after getting the key kicking the block from earlier up one more space and then kick the block to your left. It won't budge since it's up against other blocks, but it will make sure all the traps will be lowered when you go over them.Head up once more and then left until you're below the lock, and go through to make Zdrada yours. Before you do that though, make sure to kick the specially marked block to the right to collect another inscription, then play hard to get with Zdrada to convince her to stick with you.
Helltaker continues to deliver the unique blend of challenging puzzle gameplay and dark humor that the original game is known for. Players navigate through a series of grid-based puzzles, with the goal of recruiting a team of demon girls by solving increasingly complex room layouts within a limited number of moves. One of the most discussed difficulties in the community revolves around the precision required in path planning, especially in later levels where the margin for error is minimal.
