Shadow Blade: Reload is an action-adventure game that plunges players into a world once again consumed by darkness. Embark on a quest to save the world by conquering over 50 levels of varying difficulty, each featuring unique environments and armed samurai. To succeed, you must rely on agile movement and switch weapons strategically based on enemy types to defeat your foes. With difficulty settings ranging from Normal to Hardcore and Master, the game pushes players to their limits; see if you can beat the game and compete against friends or other players on the leaderboards.
Easy to Learn Controls: To make it easy for players to operate, the game has eliminated the complexity often found in action games. The buttons and gestures on the touch screen are designed intuitively, making it easy to get used to even for new players.
Precise Control: The game’s control system still ensures high accuracy. Each touch, each swipe will be responded to instantly on the screen, helping you control Kuro flexibly. Thanks to that, you can confidently launch beautiful combos, dodge enemies and overcome obstacles perfectly.
Mobile Optimization: Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of the mobile platform, the game also fully optimizes the touch control system. The buttons are arranged reasonably, without causing the feeling of blocking the screen. The swipe gestures are also designed smoothly, suitable for manual operations on the touch screen.
Challenging Courses: You will have to overcome levels designed with complex terrain, dangerous obstacles that require skillful calculation. From towering walls to hidden traps, each level is a challenge that requires you to use flexible movement and accurate judgment to overcome.
Ninja Abilities: To overcome difficult challenges, you will be equipped with special skills of a ninja. Stealth will be a powerful weapon for you to hide in the dark, moving gently to avoid detection by enemies.
Engaging Theme: Not just stopping at challenging levels and fighting skills. The game gives you the opportunity to live in the world of ninjas. You will feel the mystery, agility and decisiveness characteristic of the dark warriors.

Find A Good Rhythm: First of all, it’s important that you figure out the controls in Shadow Blade: Reload. You can move left and right by using the controls on the bottom left hand side of your screen, while the three buttons on the bottom right perform special actions – slash, jump, throw shuriken. And once you’ve familiarized yourself with the controls, you can then focus on developing a steady rhythm to your actions – balance out your running, jumping, and slashing actions.
Speed Is Also Important: While it’s essential that you develop a rhythm to the things you do in the game, you also need to be fast. If you want to rank higher up in the leaderboard, it’s also important that these rhythmic actions also be done quickly. It won’t be easy at first, but with some practice, moving smoothly AND quickly will become second nature to you.
You Have To Be Fast While Avoiding Obstacles: So in this game, you have to move smoothly, move quickly, and move to avoid obstacles. Yes, that is absolutely correct, and you will certainly be doing your share of fast movements to avoid obstacles, particularly the spikes. Spikes will instantly end your run, though you can take solace in the fact that you normally wouldn’t have to wait too long before getting to a checkpoint.
Be Prepared For The Shadow Hunters And Their Ilk: You shouldn’t have a problem dealing with the lower-level enemies, but when you face up with the Shadow Hunters, you’ll need to be extra-vigilant. One type of Shadow Hunter can kill you instantly with one shot, while another type fires off heat-seeking missiles your way. It can be very hard to dodge those missiles, so always keep your guard up and, if we hadn’t stressed it enough previously, be quick about it. You’ll want to take these bad guys out before the others so you don’t have to deal with the stuff they fire at you.

Firstly, make sure you have LAV extensions installed if you want to watch the animated videos that tell the story during the game. The install folder has an exe you can run, and it works, but I would install the basic K-Lite codec pack which includes this and more and is up to date, and I can confirm 100% unlocked the game videos.I have a soft spot for this game as it does exactly what I want out of an action platformer that being responsive, focused harcore action without being OTT like speed run type "super speed" titles and focusing on combat, i.e., destroying the enemies, on top of the platforming pitfalls you must navigate.Looks good, sounds good, controls well, cheap and worth every cent, this is my type of game. There are hidden bonuses but it's not one of those games you will be wandering endlessly and wondering where to go next, which is precisely what I love about it. Just a straightforward and challenging action game.Oh, it has native 4K support and controller remapping as well as a simple hints page explaining all the movement and attacks available to you. Unfortunately it's one of those older games that doesn't recognise LT and RT, and that is a real shame when I am using a controller with digital triggers, as I find them much easier (cause they are larger) to use, therefore I would have loved to assign dash to RT rather than RB. I will try enabling Steam, input for the game and see if I can work around it that way next time I play it.BTW there is also an option called Xbox one controller for windows, and I have no idea what it deos when enabled, other than disable the d-pad of my Elves 2 Pro or 8bitDo M30. I haven't been able to use the 8bitdo on this one, as RB on that controller exposes itself as LT to the OS, and was therefore unusable, but this was before I understoo d about Steam custom game control profiles, so hopefully can work around it next time and use my favourite controller for 2D games.Still, it's a cheap and SUPER fun Shinobi/Ninja Gaiden style action game and I recommend it.
Shadow Blade Reload is your typical 2.5 action adventure where you follow a simple and typical story across 7 regions. Each region contains between 5 and 7 stages with some of the final stages being bosses. You go through obstacles, fight enemies, collect Kanji & orbs and you get scored at the end based on factors like how many enemies you defeat, how much stuff you collect and how fast you are.The game’s biggest selling point has got to be the controls. It feels amazing with a controller. Not only because you’re super fast but you can jump infinitely as long as you touch a wall. It might sound broken but the levels are generally designed with that in mind, especially when you play on 2 harder difficulties. The environments change significantly with more obstacles and enemies. The game is a joy to play and it’s kept engaging. Other aspects like graphics, sound etc. are fine. They might not impress compared to what’s available on the market, but they’re done with care.In terms of flaws, most are real nitpicks. You need to install a program on PC in order to view the cutscenes, luckily the installation program is found in the game’s folder. There are also some minor visual bugs on very rare occasions like going to spots you’re not supposed to.I had lots of fun playing the game and I can definitely recommend it to fans of action adventure Ninja games. You really do feel like a Ninja with how fast and powerful you can get. The normal price of around €8 is 100% worth it. It took me 13 hours to complete the game 3 times and get all the achievements. There are different type of achievements such as collect all kanji, do certain actions a couple of times and complete the game on all 3 difficulties. The latter was mostly the fun kind of challenge. All achievements felt pretty well balanced in terms of grind not going too far and reasonable things being asked to do.

No Place for Horners (Bronze): Kill 10 Horner Enemies before Calling more Enemies.

Among all game genres, action games stand out as the most captivating medium for showcasing the beauty of human movement. Through fluid combat animations and dynamic character motions, these games transform the human body into an artistic instrument of combat. Each graceful dodge, powerful strike, and acrobatic combo creates a mesmerizing dance of violence, where every muscle movement contributes to an exhilarating visual symphony. Like a perfectly choreographed martial arts performance blended with strategic depth, action games become living chessboards where every move demonstrates both aesthetic brilliance and tactical mastery. The constantly evolving stances and attacks don't just simulate combat - they celebrate the human form's limitless potential for expression through motion.
Every move carries the weight of life and death-each action a decisive stroke between triumph and ruin. In this merciless contest, hesitation means defeat, and a single misstep spells doom. Victory demands flawless execution; the price of failure is paid not in pride, but in blood. Only those with unwavering focus and razor-sharp precision will emerge unscathed, while the fallen are left to face the ultimate cost. Here, battle is not sport-it is survival.
