Asphalt Xtreme is a thrilling off-road racing game where you drive different types of cars on various tracks, competing fiercely against eight other players. Facing various extreme environments, players need to stay vigilant at all times and showcase their driving skills to outpace their opponents and win. To gain a greater advantage in the game, players need to further modify their vehicles, upgrading various parts such as engines and tires, and adjusting the vehicle's paint job to enhance performance and make it even cooler. The game also offers players a variety of gameplay modes, allowing them to participate in various professional and master races, challenging players to push their speed limits on increasingly difficult tracks.
The video game features a lineup of rally cars, monster trucks and muddy or snowy environments. While the controls were the same as the previous Asphalt games, the nitro and speed mechanics were changed. Instead of there being one single nitro bar, as in previous Asphalt games, there were three nitro "Segments", and using the extra nitro booster powerup, this number could be increased to four. Perfect Nitro was renamed to Long Nitro, and a new nitro boost called "triple nitro" activated all three or four bars at the same time for added speed. When a race started, the vehicles were given 2 nitro segments. Different types of vehicles acquire boost at different rates based on certain play styles. For example, buggies gained large amounts of nitro from performing airborne stunts, while SUVs performed drifts to maintain their nitro boost. Also, driving on water and rocks greatly decreased the speed of your vehicle, unlike other Asphalt games, where slowdown due to rocks and water was either mild or nonexistent, as with water in Asphalt 7, Asphalt 8, and Asphalt Legends Unite.
Unlike the previous games, different types of vehicles had significant effects on gameplay. Lighter vehicles, such as buggies and rally cars, were generally aerodynamic and could pull off aerial stunts easily, while heavier vehicles, such as trucks and SUVs, struggled to perform the same tasks, and gained less boost as a result. This differed from previous Asphalt games, where the car's speeds depended on their rank.
The Infected mode was also carried over from Asphalt 8, albeit with several changes. Compared to Asphalt 8, there are more ways to get infected in Asphalt Xtreme, but infected players started out with less time being infected; 20 seconds compared to 30 seconds. Players could extend their infected time by performing aerial stunts and drifting, something not possible in Asphalt 8. Also, when the infected timer ran out, players did not get an infection overload, unlike Asphalt 8, but rather lost their Infected state and gained a full tank of Nitro. In both games, players could become infected again.

Off-Road: The focus is on dirt, sand, and uneven terrain, letting players take alternate lines and brute-force through rough sections.
Huge Car Pool: Choose from a sizable lineup that includes real-world manufacturers like Ford and Jeep.
Five Game Modes: Multiple modes support both solo play and online competition, including an eight-player free-for-all.
Customize Cars: Upgrade components for performance and apply cosmetic changes to personalize your rides.
Race Around the Globe: Tracks span international locations (from Thailand to Detroit), offering different visual themes and course layouts.

The nitro button is useful. Simply tapping it consumes one chunk, while hitting it multiple times makes it stronger.
You can restore the nitro bar by picking up powerups during the race. That’s not the only means in which to replenish it, though.
Drift for long enough and you speed up how fast the nitro recharges.
Best of all – if you boost with three full bars of nitro then wait till it goes red before boosting, you can recharge it even while still boosting. In theory, you can accumulate a huge chain of nitro boosting, especially if you use a vehicle that recharges quickly. It’ll take some practice but it’s worth it.
Destroy any junk in the way and you can gain a little more for your nitro bar. It’s an easy way of gaining a recharge.
Nitro is best used for overtaking, but it has additional purposes. You can use it to ram other vehicles which in turn restores your nitro gauge. Keep doing these kinds of things and you should always have some nitro spare.
The best route to success is to use these methods to ensure that you almost never run out of nitro while you’re racing. It’s certainly possible.
Each vehicle type provides a very different experience. It’s wise to know what to expect.
Buggies are light and speedy, meaning they’re ideal for performing jumps.
Rally cars are fast and great at drifting expertly, but don’t expect them to deal with hitting other vehicles very well.

Love the game. Some suggested improvements:World Clash: Make lobbies based on the car level so that you’re not always getting smoked by the sweats; you always get killed by the monster trucks at the start of the race (boring), it’s virtually impossible to win a race even with a level-50 car unless you overclock it (make an overclock-only lobby based on car level so that it’s a fair fight); make a world clash where the track is not random, so that you can race your fave tracks over again to get better if you want to (people just quit out of the race if it’s a boring track, or they see that there’s a ton of monster trucks on the starting line anyway),Career Mode: You basically need a million Class A tools and a ton of cash to upgrade the necessary cars to fulfill all of the race requirements in career mode. Since the game transitioned away from pay-to-play and into the Netflix platform (which is great), it would be better to have a way to get more of those Class A tool cards instead of endless Level D car cards that you already have four cars that you don’t need to upgrade to complete career mode (even if you end up selling those cards, you still need to find a million Class A tool cards). As you need a ton of those cards and a ton of money, the only way to get the money, once you’ve completed all the mastery level levels for your inventory, is to go to world clash, and then you get all the frustration of the stuff that I mentioned above.I hope helpful information for the developers from an avid user.
I love the action, the realistic graphics and consistent physics. However, I have been frustrated with the meager rewards even when I’m buying the advanced boxes they give out so many D level cards AND make leveling up your cars next to impossible because when you get to level 25, you the need like 40 cards or tools to get to the next level. So I’m stuck. I can’t go any further. It would be great if you could use the “mastery” section to get enough credits/awards to level up. So I play for a short while but then put it down because there’s no path forward.
The latest update made some changes that made the game less enjoyable than it was. The biggest issue from this update is that the “daily challenges” are now based on how far you’ve progressed in Career mode. The farther you’ve gone, the more things you have to do to complete the daily challenges. It’s gotten to the point where I’d have to spend somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes just to complete the races for the daily challenges, which is a bigger investment than I like for daily challenges. Yes, one race was too few, but find a better way to balance this out.Two other suggestions: Get rid of “knockout” races and rework the bot racers so they drive like racers and not crash test dummies.
Asphalt Xtreme is integrated with the same control system as previous versions. You get a choice of manual controls or let the AI help you with it. Just tilt the phone when going through curves to steer the car in the desired direction. With its wide and intuitive display, Asphalt Xtreme gives you complete control over every movement of your vehicle. When going through sharp turns, don’t forget to show off your melancholy drift skills to perfectly overcome obstacles.

Watching the road unfold ahead, landscapes shifting and passing by, creates a thrilling sense of movement and freedom. Unlike walking, driving offers speed, power, and a touch of adventure, making it an exhilarating way to travel. There’s something inherently masculine about mastering a machine, taming its force, and embracing the open road. Driving isn’t just transportation; it’s a passion, a skill, and a timeless expression of independence.
