60 Seconds Reatomized

60 Seconds Reatomized
Introduction

60 Seconds Reatomized is a popular post-apocalyptic adventure game. At the start of the game, players have 60 seconds to gather resources such as canned food, tools, weapons, and medicine within their family home. When the countdown ends, a nuclear bomb will destroy everything, forcing players to begin their survival in an underground shelter. Each day, you'll need to decide whether to venture out and send suitable family members to explore. They might find items suitable for survival, but they may also encounter enemies or fall ill. You must maintain your family's daily needs. Your choices will lead the story in different directions and to different endings. As the game progresses, the number of endings you trigger increases, and you'll unlock various achievements and trophies to showcase to other players, earning their praise.

Gameplay of 60 Seconds Reatomized:

When the game begins, the player has the titular 60 seconds to acquire supplies, family members, and diversional items (e.g. a checkers set), and bring them to an underground shelter beneath their house, including the family member they initially control, before a nuclear bomb is dropped on the neighborhood. The items acquired will affect the subsequent gameplay.

Each day, the player must make decisions for the family based on supplies available, limited information, and the abilities of the saved family members. Some of these entail risks, and may result in poor health or even the death of one or all of the family members.

The player must ration consumable supplies, such as food and water, among the family members. They are rationed based on how many consumables were initially acquired, the family members' overall health, and their need for particular rations. The player must also be cautious about the mental state of the family members, as it may deteriorate due to isolation and affect the gameplay. (e.g. Ted will turn one of his socks into a puppet and begin talking to it as if it was a person.)

At times, a character may be required to leave the shelter to scavenge for supplies and food. Again, this entails risk, as they may fall ill due to radiation, or may face an event resulting in their death.

Other times, a knock may be heard at the hatch of the underground shelter, and the player must make a decision on whether to ignore it, or open the hatch to allow whoever or whatever is there to interact with the characters. Depending on the event, this could result in a possible trade between the McDoodles and other affected families, or shelter raid where supplies are stolen. This is just one of many types of events that can happen in-game, and generally, one will happen every day.

If the player makes certain decisions, groups including the U.S. Army or a larger group of friendly survivors may come to rescue the family, successfully ending the game.

Features of 60 Seconds Reatomized:

Collect supplies before the blast: 60 Seconds Reatomized begins with a short countdown inside the McDoodle home. You need to save family members while collecting items that may help later, including food, water, a radio, a med kit, and a gas mask. Since the house layout changes between runs, the route that worked before may not work again.

Manage life in the fallout shelter: After reaching the shelter, you decide how to ration food and water while watching each family member’s condition. Daily situations can create new problems, such as shortages, illness, or requests that need an immediate answer. You must choose carefully because supplies used early may be needed later.

Make choices with lasting effects: You respond to unexpected events through decisions that shape the current survival story. The people you rescued, the items you brought, and the answers you choose can change what happens next. As a result, one run may end very differently from another, including stories connected to escaping the wasteland.

Send survivors on expeditions: You can decide whether to send a family member out of the fallout shelter to search the wasteland. An expedition may bring back useful supplies, but it also carries risks for the person leaving the shelter. Before sending anyone out, consider their health and whether the group can manage without them.

Try Survival Challenges and unlockables: 60 Seconds Reatomized includes Survival Challenges, which are shorter scenarios focused on planning and decision making. The game also adds family relationship interactions that can reveal different story moments. Its remastered presentation includes refreshed 2D visuals, hand drawn 3D textures, updated menus, new sounds, achievements, and unlockable shelter appearances.

Useful Tips of 60 Seconds Reatomized:

You can easily survive by bringing yourself and a 2nd family member and killing them off as soon as you can. You'll only have 1 mouth to food but you will have plenty of supplies to survive by yourself without scavenging. If you go in the bunker alone on day 1, Ted or Dolores will go crazy on day 2.

If you get an event where there is a "growling creature" and you can use either the gun, bug spray, or flashlight, use the flashlight. It's Pancake the dog which can help you survive.

Once you start the Pancake mission by using the flashlight, he might come back and ask for soup. Give him a soup can or you won't get Pancake.

He might come back and be "agitated". You'll have the choice to use either the map, gun, or axe. Use the map, if you use the gun or axe pancake will run away. You will also get some supplies from this.

After this, Pancake will come back once more and will be hurt. You have to use your medkit on him and once you do, he is in your bunker.

When Pancake says he wants to go out, you should allow him to. He can bring back food, water, and sometimes even other supplies!

If you don't feed pancake, the first time nothing will happen, but on the second time he will eat the harmonica, and on the third time he will leave the bunker.

There is another pet you can get in your bunker which is a cat named Sharikov. He is not as useful as Pancake, but he can help you get 3 endings that will be explained below.

To get Sharikov, there is a random event where it says there is a cat surrounded by blood and bones. If you press yes on this scenario, you will bring Sharikov into your bunker.

Be warned, Sharikov can make Ted sick. You can use the medkit to heal him but he won't become sick from Sharikov after you use the medkit on him once.

One of the endings that Sharikov allows you to get is the secret agent ending. When you get the scenario saying that Sharikov is sneaking out of the bunker or has a name on his collar, press yes to leaving and searching for these people because you will meet the secret agents.

Another ending is acquired with Sharikov, but instead of meeting the agents, ignore them and do not encounter them by following Sharikov. If you still have Sharikov you'll get the option to talk to a mad scientist or the "Doc". He is the key to the soup can in space ending, but if you wanna get that ending you'll need a lot of water.

If you open the shelter door for anyone in the early days (day 1 - day 15), someone in your shelter will most likely get sick.

You can send someone to scavenge when the radiation is still strong, just make sure to send them out with a gas mask or they will get sick.

If you have a scenario with huge spiders, mutant cockroaches, or green goo, you can potentially get mutant Mary Jane which is very helpful. Mutant Mary Jane is not guaranteed and she is quite rare to get. If you do nothing about the mutant spiders, Mary Jane might get bit by one of them and could potentially become a mutant. Same applies to the mutant cockroaches run around and not doing anything about green goo coming from the vents. It is more likely to get mutant Mary Jane if she is already sick when these events happen.

Player Comments of 60 Seconds Reatomized:

I love this game and it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever played, it is amazing and it is probably my 2nd favorite game ever and my favorite game available on Mobile. But when I accidentally let them thirst to death for the 9th time this week they all threatened to hit me with 851 soup cans and told me diabolical things while Glass Joe from punch out told me to make them listen to Melanie Martinez, the next morning I woke up with soup all over my face and then my neighbors mailbox began to sing Brand New City by Mitski, and my other neighbors sang Soap by Melanie Martinez. I was really confused, then Dolores proceeded to sue my whole family for fraud and then Martha Stewart came over and said “Edmund, remember that letter you sent me?” Then she turned into about 95 butterflies. Next thing I knew, I was casted as Eliza in Hamilton. Super Macho Man from Punch Out was casted as Hamilton himself. Then, 15 balloon dogs told me that I was now a Madoka ripoff and I turned into an anime girl with pink hair. I then proceeded to fight the Alaskan bull worm from SpongeBob SquarePants, and the Evil Turtle from TAWOG. Then, a clown car rammed into me, shoving me into a pond. Hanon Hōshō from Mermaid Melody told me that she was actually a parrot, and gave me an apron with a cat on it and faded away. But it wasn’t a HUGE glitch, I just had to reboot the game. But 10/10 game I really recommend!

I love 60 seconds, from the silly encounters from the wasteland, such as a woman hunting a giant spider who is asking for ammunition to the final countdown while your waiting for the military to rescue you after doing a bunch of chores for them. Another thing I love about this game is the narrative of the journal, and in some of the interactions, we learn some about the characters, such as Delores somewhat mysterious life before she married Ted. Another thing I love is how this game can really screw you over in one way or another, you can have the perfect game, but run out of items to fight back raiders with and potentially get your shelter taken over. Some gripes I have with this game are how there are a good amount of encounters, but the game needs more encounters, or the lack of variants for items, such as the rifle not having variants of things such as a shotgun, or maybe the soviets tried to invade America after the bombs fell and you can potentially have a rare encounter where you take a Kalashnikov off a dead Soviet soldiers body. But, all in all, this game is very worth it for the price and the fact that it doesn’t take my personal data, and is available on the go.

I really love the concept of this game! I love apocalyptic type survival games and this game checks ALMOST every box to make this a perfect game. I think this game just needs a bit more depth and exploration for it to be perfect! Maybe have more interactive items in the bunker like with the deck of cards and checkerboard, maybe you can actually sit and play with them instead of clicking it and just seeing that they played it in the journal. Or maybe with the gun, bug spray, axe and just items like that make it more interactive where you can control the weapon, sim and fire at whatever you need to use it on. I love the concept of this game but making it more interactive would be so much fun and it would be something more than just clicking items and reading what they did with it, it’d be better to see it in action rather tk just read it.

Conclusion:

60 Seconds Reatomized is an improved version in many aspects, from images to sound effects. Players will feel the authenticity and fierceness of nuclear war and the urge to explore all the outcomes of the gameplay. At the same time, all activities focus on the choices and current situation to be able to maintain life in the following days. Everything can be done intact, or only one character can survive after the difficult days. This creates challenges and curiosity for everyone because they want to know what will happen if there are not enough food reserves.
