The Alpha Underground

The Alpha Underground is a story-driven casual game where players follow the grumpy Francis as he participates in mysterious experiments to pay off his debts. Players must perform various tasks at the scientists' request to increase muscle mass and earn money during the experiments. Players will encounter a variety of characters during the experiments; how will our protagonist react to their obsession with muscle growth? As the game progresses, players will unlock various exciting animated scenes, providing a thrilling gaming experience.

Story of The Alpha Underground:

The Alpha Underground is a sci-fi erotic visual novel about a shady underground facility that experiments with muscle-growing their helpless test subjects.

Francis is a grumpy old bear who gets a chance at settling up on his massive debts when he is referred to The Alpha Underground. All he has to do is sign away his rights and become a guinea pig for some weird experiments held by a perverted yet genius scientist. Francis gets paid per pound of muscle he gains while undergoing this trial so if he wants to make a ton of cash, he'll have to put on a ton of muscle. 

How will Francis fare surrounded by other test subjects, mysteriously masked and jacked servants, and all the weights he can lift?

This is the full release of The Alpha Underground! The game should take around 2.5 hours long, and is just a part 1. This VN is currently not in active development, but if this does well enough, I will consider working on more, including having route splits that focus on different characters in The Underground.

Player Comments of The Alpha Underground:

So first things first, this visual novel caters to a pretty specific set of fetishes. Muscle growth and Furries. I myself am not huge into furry however I am super into muscle growth, and it is an underused mechanic in games and VNs. This one does it pretty well. If you like both of those things I'd say give it a go. If not this probably isn't for you. The other thing worth mentioning is that while this is advertised as complete, it is not. This is pretty much a 2 hour long proof of concept. The story ends on a pretty big cliffhanger, and it is unknown if it will be continued. The developer has said that they will continue it if there is interest. In cases like that its better to assume there will be no more, and be surprised if there is.

fun little visual novel, but there's 2 critical issues imo:1. it's pretty short2. it lacks user interaction (ie, over the entire game i didn't have a choice).it's a nice proj and what not, but unless this is specifically doing it for you (you know how), then i would be hesitant.other little small things i would like to see is the images you see characters use have more stages. ie there's a few places where there's drawn still where a character looks ripped, but then it cuts back to the character using an older reference when they're skinny which is a bit distracting.good project, but there's some rough edges i which were sanded.

I just replayed it after a while and I'm still sat here thinking that a sequel is just a must. Nevertheless, it was so good that even if the next VN is not a sequel to Alpha Underground, I'm getting it.

Players follow Francis through his time as a test subject, reading through story-driven scenes and dialogue as his body and circumstances change under the experiment. Choices shape how he interacts with the people around him, including the other subjects and staff, as his transformation progresses. The pacing centers on watching consequences unfold rather than managing separate systems.
