Completely ignoring how good this title is as a video game, I want to instead highlight the fact that it's the full addiction loop of TCGs for less than the price of McDonald's. Ever since buying this game I haven't bought a lootbox, spun for a character, or done anything even remotely resembling wasting / spending money. I did, however, spend almost 50 hours in 3 days opening boxes of cards, and you better believe I got a few nice foils in my display case.All of that aside, this is what we would have without the MTX / P2W market that's overtaken gaming. That dopamine buzzer used to be quite a bit cheaper.

Unfortunately, just like in real life, I am far more interested in collecting cards than making sound financial decisions. I am consistently barely breaking even. But I am having fun.I got this with the intention of modding it, but I'm actually pretty fond of the Tetramon. I'm easily charmed by simple designs, so the Minstar plushie stays within my line of sight from the checkout counter.I hate my single employee Zackary more than anything, but I pay him like $3/hr so I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

TCG Card Shop Sim scratches the itch inside my brain to rip open 1000 card packs at a time, but with the added benefit of not going broke or disappointing my family !!It follows many other simulator games that have come before it, with a very similar format and graphics, but also with a whole lot of added charm and incentive to play it for hours and hours. The collector bug in me wont stop until I have every card available.Achievements are a bit of a grind on this one, so if you're aiming to 100% it just know that you're in for quite a long ride, especially the collecting 2500 unique cards achievement and then the longggg grind for level 100 (I am 92 hours into the game and just shy of level 80).Dev works very hard to quickly push out bug fixes and add more content to the game. They are clearly quite in touch with their consumers, it seems every time I see a mention of a bug on the community page, its rectified in patch notes within a couple of days. This feels like a project filled with passion and that's the kind of thing I love to support.Overall HIGHLY recommend this to any TCG fans and Simulator game fans aswell. You're in for an addictive and rewarding experience if you download this game.
