Useful Tips of Idle Obelisk Miner Mod:

Yeah, the Midas drone and selling ore are the only ways to make money in the game. Drone effects DO NOT stack, so equipping 2 Midas does nothing. The base drone effect is bonus gold per ore mined. This is added upon when you fuel it and activate its extra effect. (If you dont know what fueling means, keep playing, I forgot when it gets unlocked.) Personally, if im actively playing, I set my pause to rainbow floors and hit it with a transmuter (you can set it to do zero damage in the settings) and then a Bomb of Plenty. Sell excess as needed. There are plenty of upgrades across the actual upgrades menu, challenges, contracts, and relics to upgrade your gold gain and ore multiplier (this effects gold gained as it's per ore mined. More ore mined = more gold).

Skill SHARDS are only obtained from the freebie pack. Combine 10 and get a point. Skill POINTS can be earned by combining shards, getting them in bundles, and outright buying them with gems. 1 point is 125 gems, 10 is 1250. Very straightforward. Personally, if I dont need something else specifically, almost all of my gems go to Skill points. There are some VERY GOOD upgrades in the skill tree and I only have a couple left to go to get every Skill available to me until my next major obelisk.

Gems are the life blood of this game. Premium currency. Pretty much anything and everything in the game requires gems. You get these from freebie packs, loot bugs, store bundles, and flat out buying them. You also get rewarded a small amount each time you clear an obelisk. The best way to obtain them, in my opinion, is to set cherry bomb to auto while offline and then stack them into battery Bomb charges. This will be the fastest way to upgrade your capacity outside of upgrades and relics. Once you get to at least 10k charges, I would then start cherry stacking into gem bombs. The more you use, the more gems you get. On the discord and here, I've read people making 10s of thousands of gems a day from doing this. A good tip to consider while doing this is every time your Gem Bomb is capped, fire all of them off at once.

If by "prestige runs" you mean resetting and going as high as you can before resetting again, no, upgrading is not necessary. You will be prestiging A LOT in this game. There are multiple challenges that require you to go to X floor multiple times, with you having to prestige each time. Theres also multipl challenges that require you to get to a specific floor without upgrades, multiple times. Basically, if you dont need to prestige, dont. Go as far as you can go without struggling and upgrade your stuff as you can. Upgrades and contracts reset each prestige. All the stuff on the top half of the menu, labeled "permanent" does not. I would prioritize as much of these upgrades as you can. Not only do they stack with the per prestige upgrades, they can help you out more than them because every time you prestige, they stay upgraded, meaning you should be able to go at least a little further each time.

This one's kind of a tough one. Theres upgrades everywhere for xp gain, but the best way is to go to as high of a floor as you can comfortably one shot a floor with a Bomb, then set your EXP bomb to auto. Each obelisk you clear unlocks more stuff, including higher and higher level caps, which give more upgrades. Im currently sitting at the end of world 2 right now, farming to get to world 3 and my level cap is currently 200. I physically cannot go higher until I beat obelisk 42 and go into world 3. Like I said, upgrades are everywhere. Contracts, relics, challenges, etc. Consumables are probably one of the better ways to do this as well, if you can get enough.

A fantastic idle game with absolutely no ads. No, I'm not kidding: this game has zero ads, and no required purchases. I've been playing for over 2 months without spending a dime and I'm still steadily making progress. The game slowly introduces more mechanics as you progress which give the game more depth and variety in the goals you're able to pursue. The game receives constant updates that include new content, bug fixes, and amazing QoL changes. Give this a try if you like idle games!

Don't play this if you hate grinding! That said, I'm really enjoying the slow improvement over time. The developer clearly thought through many aspects of this game to make them better than they could be (the way chain bombs can be used, for example). No ads is really awesome too. I've made a few purchases to support this great developer.

Great idle game, very addictive to tap minerals and toss bombs. I enjoy the upgrade systems that are tied to the prestige as well as ones reset with each run. Unlocking more upgrades as more obelisks are defeated is great. I am very surprised that there are no ads at all, at least I have not encountered one yet. They are very generous with their premium currency gifts as well. I was happy enough that I bought the extra drone and battery bomb to support a generous development team.

What is the best way to get bars?

In the early game, you can auto-pause chain bomb and drones on certain floors (Golden, Rainbow, ...) to manually fire Bomb of Plenty and/or Transmuter Bomb. You can also use this at any point in the game if you don't have enough damage to clear floors in 1 hit with just bombs.If you don't mind micromanagement, you can put a little fuel into the Chain Bomber Drone Suit, and only equip it on Golden+Rainbow floors. The suit does not consume fuel while not equipped, so you can take advantage of the multiplier without spending too many gems.In the mid- and end-game, you can pause drones and Autobomb Bomb of Plenty or Transmuter Bomb, and use the fueled Chain Bomber Drone Suit (and void suit if you need ores from previous floors, or if your void portal multiplier is high enough).Transmuter Bomb damage can be set to 0 in the options menu. This allows you to fire the Transmuter Bomb without breaking ores, and then also fire the Bomb of Plenty. The amount of bars you get from Transmuter is multiplied by the Bomb of Plenty Ore Multiplier if both effects are active.
