Shoot Out is a thrilling action-shooter game where you play as an elite agent tackling levels of varying difficulty. You must stay vigilant while navigating the map and skillfully utilizing a range of firearms—such as sniper rifles, assault rifles, and submachine guns—to take down obstacles. Whether facing highly intelligent AI opponents or other players, success hinges on accurately predicting enemy movements to land precise shots and secure victory. The game also features multiplayer modes, allowing you to team up with friends against others or compete directly against one another for an exciting gaming experience.

Gameplay of Shoot Out:

You play as a lonewolf mercenary of no name or affiliation whatsoever, your goal is to kill other soldiers while marching through a desert city— that would be all regarding this game’s story.

In Shoot Out, you can make the mercenary tougher by buying new weapons (there are rifles, sniper rifles and shotguns, about 13 in total, 4 have to be bought with premium currency, two can be unlocked by opening suitcases during missions) and equipment (as of now, there are only head and chest items). Guns can be further upgraded — there are stats for damage, fire rate, spread and ammo count. Additionally, you can buy grenades and first aid kits that make the gameplay easier, but it’s already easy, so there is no reason for spending money on them.

There are 10 locations to play through, each of them offering “chapters” that lead to getting a bunch of money or gold, or trying out a paid weapon. Their number varies, though. Every chapter consists of a couple of missions, and each mission is around 30–60 seconds(!) long. I don’t know if this was a decision dictated by smartphones’ limitations or Freeplay asked for as much content as possible that would suit an average tiktok-rotten brain, but in any case, this is rather annoying and immersion-breaking. Not to mention, there are ads in between missions, so it’s usually better to either turn off internet connection or choose reward-ads, since you have to watch one either way.

Every mission is a simple shooting-on-rails section. The protagonist runs towards a cover, enemies show up, you aim and shoot at them until they are gone — while watching out for your own health level — and the merc continues his little jog. Sometimes, a mission ends with him reaching a point with a suitcase or some other item you can interact with, and an interaction requires watching an ad — this results in getting additional money, a weapon part or any other item. I think it should be noted that enemies have no AI whatsoever, they just run to a certain point and stand there, unless they were scripted to do otherwise.

Strategies of Shoot Out:

A moving target is harder to hit. So, ask yourself! Can you move around? Learn to dance around if you want to dodge the bullets, but you can also slide to the right as they're prepping the next shot in their frontier rifle, or duck as the variable rifle aims for your head.

Is there any cover to hide behind? Now you have disengaged the fight on your terms and can try to re-engage it on your own terms, maybe even run away. Perhaps you can bait them in and give them a little dance shiv! But think of what your next steps are and keep an escape in mind.

Or was I caught in the open? Positioning is key. If you have to go out, make sure a teammate can keep eyes on you. And try to have an idea of where your opponents are. If you get shot at, you are now allowed to run while teammate engages the person that's not looking at them. Maybe the enemy sees your teammate turn and drops their attack. Always think of who can see what, and suddenly "out in the open" isn't as visible as you thought.

Try to see what your enemy is seeing. They don't know what youre doing behind cover. So hide and think, what's my next step and what's theirs. What do they think I'm doing, and are they right? How can I make sure they're not right? Use fat1 to quick heal and engage the fight again while they move closer or move in close as they try to heal the shot you got off. Maybe they only saw your pistol in hand, so pull out a molly to surprise them as they turn the corner. Hide behind this wall and quickly move to that wall a few feet behind watching your previous spot in case they push it, line up your head shot and surprise!

Did a teammate fire a shot? Red dot! Now they're looking for gun#2 and maybe focused on their radar where the red dot appearead so use their split second to line up your headshot instead of their chest. If they move their gun off you and onto them, even more choices!

Overall a decent game, not very challenging but it's fun. Though you can only get to location 8 before you can no longer progress. This really stunts people playing this game from gaming apps that reward you for playing the game. Honestly, the developers should have not put this game out till it had a decent amount of locations to access first. Play this at your own discretion. I'm updated stars for reason is goat a reply...

I think it's an exceptional game very easy to play you're going to need to come up with new levels because I've finished your game I made it all the way to the end and now it started over again add a little bit more Gore to it when you blow somebody with a shotgun instead of the blood disappearing have it stay on the wall make it more realistic but you got to come up with more levels because I finished it.

graphics aren't the greatest, but the game is still fun even though its super easy. I completed 8 areas in maybe 2 hrs. would be nice if the further levels were developed before release. at least the first 500 or so levels. otherwise I do like it. also, no forced ads which get annoying, is a huge plus.

Nice game for recommendations. But the target lens guide is too faint, if the enemies are fast they'll get one without much ado. I suggest you upgrade the target beacon or should i say lens to be more visible with colour variations for swift take out of enemies. Thank you.
