Introduction

Team-Apple Pie Games released a new game called Monster Black Market and the version is 2.0.0.0. The game’s story is about the Player accepting a secret proposal from ‘Amilia’, a senior member of the continent’s highest crime syndicate. She gives the player a territory, where she will test the player by having him run a monster farm and brothel using monsters and slaves. She offered a period of 50 days. If the player ran the territory and made a profit during the 50-day time period, she would accept the player into the organization to which Amilia belonged.

One of the most surprising things about Monster Black Market was the fact that this not only has a plot, the story is very entertaining! There is this big boss of a crime syndicate called Ameilia and she has taken a liking to us. She is going to give us our own territory that we can run in order to see if we have what it takes to be part of this crime syndicate and enjoy all the stuff that comes with it, of course, if we fail, we could end up in real trouble.

The Opportunity Of A Life Time

Amelia is not just giving us a territory to run like we are Tony Soprano! Monster Black Market has us being in charge of this huge monster farm and brothel! We need to manage the monsters/creatures and also ensure that our clientele is building up so that we make as much money as we can. Amelia does not tolerate failure and she is giving us 50 days to make a ton of money. If we can do this, then we are in! I loved the premise and the bits of story that flow throughout the game is all done very well and it makes you think that there are some real consequences if we fail!

My Monsters My Money

Where Monster Black Market really shines is the gameplay. We have a selection of monsters here ranging from orcs to weird horse looking things. Each one has its own stats and we need to train them up, meet their needs, and then make money off the backs of these creatures. I was very impressed by how much depth there was to the gameplay here. While I found the game easy to get into, it is something that requires you to pay attention and really learn how to play the game in order to get through it. I can see some people maybe getting a tad lost when they start, but the game does have a solid tutorial so if you do not get it, sorry to say this, it is because you have not been paying attention to what the game is teaching you!

Cute And Grotesque!

I just talked about how Monster Black Market has a lot of variety to the different monsters and the character designs here are super fun. I liked how we had a mixture of more human looking characters such as the elves and the dwarf, the dwarf by the way was my favorite. And then we have these gross looking characters like a bull and a crazy looking goblin type character that may not be sexy, but I found his whole schtick hilarious. The lewd content is a mixed bag as seeing a hot chick get banged by a cow is not on my list of things that I find hot. However, there were plenty of other scenarios that I thought were very well done.
