The story is perhaps what I liked the best about Bright Lord. There is this entity that is known as the Bright Lord and you end up becoming his assistant. He is out for himself and ultimately you have to decide if you will work with him and do as he command, but this will basically lead to him taking over your mind! Or, will you try and resist him as much as you can?There are some neat twists and turns to the story here, but there is one issue and that is what can sometimes feel like major decisions will amount to nothing as it does seem like Bright Lord will just do whatever he wants no matter what choices you make along the way. To be fair, the story is great, but I do wish that they would not make it seem like we have these massive decisions to make if they do not amount to anything.

The gameplay of Bright Lord is quite easy to figure out. I know that I said your choices do not feel like they matter, but that is really only in terms of the story. There is a lot of XXX content in this game and one thing I like is that it is very easy to know what choices you need to make in order to get the XXX content. The game is not cryptic in this regard and it is like it wants you to see all of the awesome lewd scenes. I will say that I think the lewd scenes happen more frequently at the start of the game, but there is a generous amount overall. I must say that in terms of getting to the lewd scenes, Bright Lord is one of the better games for not making it a massive chore to do so!

If you look at the screenshots, you can tell right away that this is a fantastic looking game. The character renders here are awesome and it features many big boobed, hard bodied ladies which I am a huge fan of. The sex in the game is animated quite well too and as I just said, it happens at a very frequent rate, especially in the early part of the game. The thing is, Bright Lord is a tad too dark for its own good. I get that this is a horror story that they are telling, but even when you crank the brightness up on your monitor, some scenes can be hard to fully appreciate. I get what they were going for her, but I would have liked it to be just a tad brighter.

Developer Notes:

I wanted to give you a quick update about what's been going on with me. After the last update, I went through a bit of a rough time. I had trouble focusing, felt pretty exhausted, and most importantly - I had issues working on the computer because of some eye problems. I recently got my eyes checked and was diagnosed with astigmatism. Basically, light hits my eyes unevenly, which makes things look blurry. To compensate, I was constantly squinting, which led to tired, strained eyes.

The doctor advised me to limit screen time until I got glasses. Originally, they were supposed to arrive in a week—but lucky me, they came the very next day!

Wearing them feels like I’ve upgraded to 4K vision—seriously, everything is crystal clear. But I’m still adjusting: the new clarity comes with a weird feeling of increased field of view, which is a bit disorienting right now. I also got a blue light filter to help reduce screen-induced eye strain going forward.

Work Update:

Due to the screen time restriction, progress on the next update was minimal—mostly scene prep and groundwork. But now that I’m back in action with my new glasses, I’m resuming full productivity!

Everything should be back to normal now, so I’m getting back to work. Here are a few new renders from the upcoming update!

Bright Lord is a project for an adult audience. Explicit content, decision-making mechanics and much more are included. The main character will be a young man who has begun to understand that something very strange and incomprehensible is happening around him. At the same time, he does not remember a lot of important events. Gamers will have to figure out what is happening. Ahead of them are intrigues of characters, mysticism and incredible discoveries. Which will force them to take very careful actions in the future. The future of the ward and his loved ones, who are beginning to be drawn into a growing whirlpool of troubles, will depend on this.
