I use this app on a day to day basis, it took me over 2 months to finally get verified to message my loved one. After many failed attempts I finally got ahold of someone to press the issue and get me verified. Besides that the app has been great, the only problem I’m having now is my deposit tab doesn’t work. It says “false-successful-error.” I also can not send pictures or a video through the app. If GTL would just fix these bugs the app would be 5 stars. Some people including myself rely on this app to communicate even through a text to our loved ones.

It’s pretty easy to make deposits to yourself or your loved ones accounts, so I appreciate that. The messaging system works well no complaints. Also I like how you’re able to see when they’re active on their account so you can easily get in touch with them. My only issue is sometimes there are bugs that don’t allow me to make a deposit on the app, I have to go on the website but it’s fine they fixed it for now I just hope no more issues come up. I use this multiple times a day to stay in contact with my loved one.

Being able to communicate with inmate is fine but the app is running a scam when it comes to buying time. There is one rate charge for online purchases and twice the charge to purchase via customer service which one is always forced to go to as the online purchase never works, you are directed to call customer service which takes forever to get to a person. I have sent a request to the Indiana Attorney General’s office to initiate an investigation of this group.
