The app has worked great since the recent updates. One feature that would make it even more useful is an alert when the temperature drops by 30–50 degrees. That kind of warning would quickly let me know I’m probably out of pellets, instead of me finding out too late when the smoker has already fallen to 120 degrees and the meat has lost its internal temperature. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it can ruin a cook. Adding this alert would be a simple update with a big impact for users.

Heard alot of issues with this app over the first one PB had. wifi is only as good as what you pay for and pending what kind, I have fiber wifi and was able to setup and connect to my grill to my wifi before it was primed with pellets. App use of app is pretty easy straight forward, it's nice to be able to be anywhere to see temps, prove Temps, see how smoker is doing. One thing I would like to see added is the ability to set alarms for low temp high temp for smoker incase it shuts off.

works as advertised. I bought a 700 classic 5 years ago, which still runs like a champ. 2 months ago, I thought about buying a new cool one with wifi, and then I found a deal on the upgrade board. went that way and love the new features and ability to adjust things while I'm not in front of the smoker.

this app is awesome for changing the temp of the grill while you prep everything or if you want to turn it off after you pull everything off if you forget to after you are inside. the temp I have used the temp probes and they seem to work pretty well. I haven't checked to see how accurate they are yet with my other more expensive meat probes yet but they did pretty good on the first brisket I done on a pit boss smoker
