I've appreciated this app for the info it provides for some time now & would probably giveit 5stars except for one problem. Ever since the Easton AMC 30 Theater changed someof it's rooms into a more expensive dinner theater, there's no way to differentiate whichmovie times are for the regular theater & which ones are for the dinner theater, making itdifficult to pick out a movie time. Case in point, I planned ahead to take my kids & elderlymother to see the 1100 showing of "Lincoln" for $5/person, only to get there & find outthat time slot was for the more expensive dinner theater only. The next movie availablein the regular theater was at 12:50, which meant I had to pay another $2.50/ticket that Iwasn't planning on & had to wait around the mall from 10:30 until the movie started. HadI known ahead of time which movies were in the regular theater & which ones were in thedinner theater, I could have chosen a different time to come & not had to sit aroundwaiting for a long time for the movie to start. The app does let you know when moviesare playing in IMAX or 3D, so it shouldn't be that hard to let you know which movie timesare for the dinner theater. Until the app informs you of this, I guess you have to call thetheater in advance before you make your plans to go. A major inconvenience!

Flixster uses the GPS on the phone to track your location, and suggests movietheaters with showtimes based off of your current location. Advertisements are displayedon this App, such as movie trailer promotions, but this is not its' sole function. Whileadvertising and marketing promotions are displayed on the App it still provides the userwith relevant information about movie theater locations, showtimes and upcomingmovies before they hit theaters. I think the App has some room for improvement. Thescreens are a bit text and content heavy. Smart navigational design could help clean-upthe pages more.
