After a recent update, I lost a shared folder. Contacted customer service and reportedthe loss. They indicated they would attempt to recover it. To date (a week later) it stillhas not been recovered. There's no way to stop it either besides uninstalling the app (which means youlose anything not backed up); it will keep uploading in the background. Even if youDeselect All to try and undo your accidental tap, it still does a full upload. It's happened adozen or so times in the last year, and I'm at the point where I can't take it anymore.
