Flightradar24 Flight Tracker is a popular flight tracking software. Simply enter the flight number or take a picture of the aircraft to learn about its type, destination, departure and arrival times, providing greater convenience for travelers. The software also offers categorized filtering functions, allowing users to quickly select their upcoming flights based on airport, airline, and aircraft type. With a simple click, users can access information such as nearby weather conditions and flight history data, meeting their specific needs. The software's database will be continuously updated, adding more aircraft types and corresponding information, and adapting to more countries and airports, providing users with a more convenient travel experience.
Live flight map and details: Flightradar24 displays aircraft moving in real time on a detailed map. Tap any plane to view the route, estimated arrival time, departure time, aircraft type, speed, altitude, and high resolution photos. This quick access to core flight data helps you understand where a flight is and where it is going without extra steps.
AR Plane Finder and 3D view: You can point your device at the sky to identify flights overhead using AR Plane Finder. After that, open the 3D view to see what the pilot sees from the cockpit perspective, including airline liveries. These visual tools make it easier to connect aircraft in the sky with the details on your screen.
Airport status and insights: Flightradar24 shows arrivals, departures, flight status, and aircraft on the ground at thousands of airports. You can also check current delays and detailed weather for an airport, which supports planning and monitoring during busy times. This view keeps airport activity organized and easy to read.
Search, filters, and alerts: When you need to find a specific flight, search by flight number, airport, or airline. Then use filters to narrow results by airline, aircraft type, altitude, speed, and more. Alerts are available with premium plans, and Wear OS support helps you stay informed from your watch.

Flightradar24 features a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate, making it accessible for users of all experience levels. The app displays a live map with aircraft moving in real time, allowing users to observe air traffic dynamics as they unfold. By tapping on any aircraft icon, users can access a wealth of flight information, including the route, estimated time of arrival, actual departure time, speed, and altitude.
The app also offers a playback feature that enables users to review historical data and watch past flights. This can be particularly useful for aviation enthusiasts studying flight behavior or for travelers looking to analyze their previous journeys. Users can tap on airport icons to view arrivals and departures, check flight statuses, and gain insights into current delays and weather conditions at those locations.
Users can identify individual flights by pointing their device at an airplane, which will display flight details such as the flight number, destination, aircraft type, and even a photo of the actual airplane. This feature adds an interactive element to the experience, making it engaging for those with an interest in aviation.
The Gold plan expands on the features offered in the Silver plan, providing 365 days of flight history and detailed live map weather layers that display cloud cover and precipitation. This comprehensive view allows users to analyze flight patterns and conditions over an extended period. Moreover, the Gold plan includes aeronautical charts and oceanic tracks, illustrating the pathways flights follow in the sky. Users can also view air traffic control (ATC) boundaries, which detail the regions controlled by different air traffic controllers, further enriching the experience.

I started using this app initially for the Skycard's game that is also by Flightradar24 to look at where different aircraft were but I've come to use it just about whenever I'm bored and find it fascinating! Especially with me, my family, and friends traveling as much as we all do, it's cool to see when planes are consistently late, on time, or even early. I would recommend this app for it's free version but I will admit that I got the Gold plan for $40 a year.
I like this app "You can show which runways are use to takeoff and landing in every airport at the current time. Show selected aircraft real routes and waypoints". Must consider about this:- 2 or 3 updates before it showed that the altitude changes continuously (when V/S 500 ft/Min, by 1 or more than 500, its speed increase) as it increases or decreases, but now it shows after it increase or decrease 150 or 200 feet. Not showing most of the aircraft's actual time, departure and arrival airport.
I was 1st introduced to flight radar by my son. I use to live less than a mile from the RAF Wainfleet bombing range so since the 1970s I've been interested in aircraft. Flight radar for me is brilliant. I have a flight path above where I live and being able to track the planes from take off to landing, without issues is fantastic. With my 600mil lens, my scanner and flight radar, there's nothing else I need. The best part is the subscription charges are catered for everyone.
Excellent. Occasionally it glitches like when you put it in AR mode and point it at a plane. It doesn't see it. But I guess that's often the connection. Could also improve the UI to better handle stacks of tiles in AR view. Sth like a shuffle or rotate function that lets you see all the tiles without having to zoom out. Tricky one. Just ideating. I'll reach out, revert, cycle back, ping and loop you in by EOD if anything else occurs to me. Sorry, got a hard stop. Dog walk to get across.

The response latency depends on the endpoint used and the query parameters. However, for most endpoint-parameter combinations, our response time is less than a second. Here are some response time figures from our testing:
30 flights: ~0.16 seconds
100 flights: ~0.17 seconds
1,000 flights: ~0.38 seconds
3,500 flights: ~0.91 seconds
10,000 flights: ~2.17 seconds
15,000 flights: ~3.14 seconds
17,500 flights: ~3.69 seconds
Our system updates position data approximately every 3 seconds per aircraft. Therefore, the end-to-end latency may include this update interval.
To access the “Most tracked flights” section, place your finger just below the top search bar on the main screen and swipe down. This will reveal additional information, including the “Most tracked flights” tab.
Aircraft shown in yellow are being tracked in real time via our global receiver network. In some cases, their positions may be estimated.
Red aircraft icons indicate one of two things:
You have selected the aircraft and are currently following it on the map.
The aircraft’s transponder is broadcasting an emergency squawk code:
7600 – Radio failure (lost communication)
7700 – General emergency
