Needed a way to add contact pictures from FB and keep them updated, this app did the job and updates contact info automatically. Great app! EDIT: Would love the option to NEVER ASK AGAIN for suggested merge contacts that I know are not the same person. Having to dismiss every time gets annoying after the 3rd or 4th time! 

Awesome app. Loved it while using my old Samsung. However, after switching to Xiaomi MI 9T, I don't get any pop-ups from Sync.ME. I checked all permissions, everything should be in place, including pop-up, autostart and other similar security permissions. I miss this app, maybe developers can take a look on why this feature doesn't work on Xiaomi, MIUI 10, Android 9. Thanks in advance! Later Edit: managed to get it working, but I have no idea what change triggered the display of all the features.

My Note 3 stopped syncing with Facebook after one of its updates, Sync Me sorted it out and is better to boot! 15/11/19 Used this app for a while now, but sadly I've had to remove it as it appears to block communication with my works VoIP phone network!

Clean and user-friendly interface, but more features would improve usability. Spam calls are frequent, so regular updates to the spam database would help. The proximity sensor doesn’t work during calls (tested on Samsung & Xiaomi), while stock dialer works fine, seems like an app bug. Vibration on call connect/disconnect and swipe gestures for call/message (SMS/WhatsApp option) would be great additions. Please consider these improvements.

Why am I missing friends from Facebook or other social networks?

If some of your friends are missing from your social network lists in Sync.ME, this is usually related to the privacy settings configured on those platforms.Many social networks: particularly Facebook: apply strict limitations on how third-party applications can access user data. These restrictions are controlled directly by the social network and by each individual user’s privacy preferences.For example, if one of your friends has chosen not to allow third-party apps to access their profile information on Facebook, their details will not be available to Sync.ME and therefore will not appear in your Facebook friends list within the app. This is not an issue with Sync.ME itself, but rather a result of external privacy limitations.To improve matching results and increase the number of contacts enriched with photos and information, we recommend connecting and syncing multiple social networks. Syncing additional accounts such as Telegram, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, X can significantly expand the available data sources and improve overall results.

How to fix incorrect matches?

If you find an incorrect match between a phone contact and a social network profile, you can mark it as an incorrect match, and select the correct profile for the contact. 

How to mark an incorrect social profile match:

Go to the "Contacts" tab.

Choose the contact that you would like to unmatch. 

Tap the social network photo and then press "Wrong Profile" > "Remove".

How can I merge duplicate contacts?

Sync.ME can find duplicate contacts in your address book and merge them into one. To find and merge duplicate contacts please follow the steps below:

Go to the Contacts tab.

Click on the “Merge” button in the top menu.

Sync.ME will search for duplicate contacts, and present you the findings.

Tap on “Merge Contacts” button to merge duplicate contacts or tap on the “Dismiss” button to decline.

Note: We recommend checking the Merge Details before you merge your contacts. You can also create a backup of your contacts before merging.
