How can I "tilt to zoom"?

Tap on the mode button (top left button while holding your device vertically) to select "Flex" mode.

Flex, intelligently adjusts the zooming scale to provide a smooth recording. So, if you hold your device vertically it will zoom in. While you are tilting your device to a horizontal position, it will zoom out. You can even try to rotate it with higher speeds for a cool effect

How to alter the way Horizon Camera corrects the video orientation?

Horizon's user interface shows a real time camera preview and an overlayed rectangle viewport. The viewport highlights the area of the video that will be cropped and used for the resulting video. Try to rotate your device and watch how the viewport changes.

The viewport rotates and changes size, so that the resulting video has correct orientation. When the viewport is enalrged/shrunk, the resulting video zooms out/in.

The way the viewport rotates and scales depends on the mode you have selected by tapping the "Mode button":

Flex: This is the default choice because it is best for the most regular usage scenarios. The viewport rotates and adjusts its size intelligently so that the filed of view is large and the final video smooth. The resulting video will zoom in/out smoothly. 

Rotate: The viewport rotates but its size remains the same. This option is ideal if you plan to rotate your device at high speeds. The resulting video does not zoom in/out, but the field of view is narrow.

Locked: The orientation of the video is not corrected. This mode is usefull if you plan on holding your device either horizontally or vertically.

1.This app is very convenient and does what it is supposed to. Often times I record my kids and I get lost in the moment and end up moving my phone angle and screwing up the shot. With this app I no longer have to worry about that. **April 2022** This app does not work well with my OnePlus 7 Pro. It's not smooth at all and the videos are low in quality compared to the built in phone app.

2.I rarely give 5 stars for an app but I felt obliged to do so when it came to Horizon Camera. This app simply rocks and does what it's intended for perfectly. Anyone using Android MUST have this app if they want to record pictures with their phone camera.

3.I used this in 2019, it was good and truly recorded my vertical front camera with stability. Updates : No matter I set the settings to Vertical, it keeps recording horizontally. pls fix it, also the stabilisation doesn't work, it makes the video flicker aggressively
