First I need to disclaim I have 1Gb fiber, so streaming speed and buffering are something I cannot speak to because 1Gb fiber never presents buffering problems. What I really like is the app remembers where you left off on all seasons/episodes and you can resume or start over very easily. The Discovery plus only content is very high quality and worth the service alone. I've experienced no service disruptions in 4 months of use. The menu system is great, it's very easy to add and remove favorites or preferred content to your list, it takes full advantage of navigation features on the Fire device, and Alexa voice control finds the content rapidly where other apps are not as well integrated. This is our favorite streaming service, I'd just like to see the new/current episodes being loaded more timely to the content. It seems like something that plays today on live OTA can sometimes not appear for up to a month on the streaming service, depending on show.

I'm an Investigation Discovery junkie! This is a dream come true for me! It's worth its price alone just for it's access to the ID channel. It has an incredible amount of shows, it's pretty much endless, and then has a section of recently added that updates a few times a week. BUT! That's not all you get, you get HGTV, TLC and all there catalogues of shows dating all the way back, seasons on top of seasons of Dr. Pimplepopper, Fixer Upper, 600lb Life, Hoarders, The Food Network... On and on and on, this wildly fun show Meet The Meerkats on Discovery. I only pay for the $4.99 option that comes with commercials, totally worth it, there are only a few commercial breaks a show (like 4) and they only last for 30sec to 1 and 1/2minutes. They place a commercial counter length in the top corner and it counts down the seconds til your show starts again. It's usually a Gieco or Liberty Mutual or Covid announcement, so they fly right by and you're back to your broadcast. PERFECT! MORE THAN PERFECT!!! The most perfect perfectness! Honesty, the best offer ever!

The app is mostly great. It does have a ton of shows to choose from. I do have two annoyances though. The first is you have to constantly turn the closed captioning back on. You have to turn it on at the start of every episode, if you switch shows, or you leave the app when you come back you need to turn it back on. I wish it was more like other streaming services where once you turn on CC it stays on for everything you watch until you turn them off again. My second annoyance is that a big thing they advertised was having complete seasons of shows, which so far from what I can tell they may have every season listed but only a handful of episodes from each season depending on the show. I'm hoping as time goes on, at the very least, the CC is fixed.
