Easy to handle, and the idea is just great. You can also filter by same nationality, campus or study which is very useful.
it is a very good initiative. I have already gotten to know many student even before I physically step in Bristol. The app is also user friendly.
It's a great apps, but I have deleted my account accidentally, is there any way to return my account please.
I'm about to start my studies at UC. Was nervous but after entering to the community through Goin, I feel more confident now.
The application process to being admitted into Humber College was not quite smooth for me. Due to the mass application entered it took longer than expected to get a feedback and prepare towards coming. Though, the admissions team was supportive in attending to my concerns, it was such a relief to know I could directly interact with my peers and other students from the college through the Goin App. The interaction here, is more relatable.
This is a great App for networking; with it's talented pool of students from various backgrounds, going abroad to study. The Customer support team are also fantastic with addressing your concerns. Highly recommended.

How does Goin’ work for universities?
Each university gets its own closed, invite-only platform, branded and supported by Goin’. Students are invited by email (or of choosing), join via the Goin' app, and instantly enter a student-led environment. The Goin’ team handles setup, moderation, and community activation, while universities benefit from early engagement, reduced anxiety, and real-time insights into how their future cohorts are feeling and connecting. These insights can be found in every clients' community dashboard.
How does Goin’ help students connect before arrival?
As soon as students join their Goin’ Community, they can:
Connect directly with future classmates
Join interest-based or programme-specific groups (or take the step to create their own)
Get support from Champions (experienced peer mentors or current students)
Use arrival tools like checklists and guides to help become more connnected with their university
By the time they arrive, they’re not starting from zero as they'll be arriving to friends, conversations, and a campus they already feel part of.
Is Goin’ a social media app or a university platform?
Goin’ is not social media. It’s a dedicated, secure community space exclusive to university’s admitted students. There are no ads, open feeds, or extenral/third party distractions. The community is a structured, student-first environment designed to help students feel safe, connected, and confident before arrival.
How is Goin’ different from Unibuddy or other chat tools?
Most tools focus on 1:1 Q&A with ambassadors. Goin’ creates many-to-many peer communities, where students connect with each other across study programs, countries, and shared interests. Instead of replicating staff answers, Goin’ amplifies student voices and social networks, because belonging drives enrollment and Word or Mouth via excited and experienced students is a powerful tool to enrolment.
How do students get access?
Universities send students a personalized invite. Students log in using their university credentials, join their institution’s private community, and instantly begin exploring, connecting, and getting support. Since it is invite-only, the platform ensures that each user is genuine and meanigngful. A smooth path to belonging. If you want access to the community, please contact your university.

Goin' is tailored for students embarking on their university journey. This app serves as a pre-arrival connection tool, facilitating the discovery of future classmates and fostering a student-led community for incoming students. Goin’ focuses on creating meaningful connections, offering a platform for engaging discussions, shared interests, and network expansion, enhancing the university experience from the outset.
