Welcome to the 22th Dawn of the Dead DevReport. Today we’re going to talk about current state of development.

At this moment we’re busy porting the mod to new platform and can no longer pay proper attention to MoW:AS2 version of the mod. However, in parallel we’re preparing the last update for MoW:AS2 version (only patch-fixes will be released after). What you can expect in this update?

Humans & Small Arms:

New cool human animations made by Warrior250;

Finalized weapon sounds to their final state. Updated and added new sounds to all small arms, including WW2 ones used by suspects in “Raid” mission. At distance, weapon sounds will vary by type;

New small arms features: now when you firing the pump-action shotgun or bolt-action rifle, unit will play rechambering animation with proper shell casing;

Added new model for L85A1, two new Submachine-Guns: HK MP5K-PDW & HK MP5SD3. Also fixed several models of weapons and ammunition;

Finally fixed the “friendly fire” issue of the shotguns in Singleplayer missions against play units and allies.
