Stopping Ragnarök!

To be honest with you guys the story of Kamihime Project R lost me after about an hour! The premise certainly sounded interesting enough. We and our childhood buddy Alyssa have a special device that allows us to perform trans-dimensional travel which we must do to find allies to fight with us as we try and prevent Ragnarök! That right there sounds great, but the story went way, way too long and I found myself getting lost and losing interest very early on.

The main reason that Kamihime Project R is worth playing is the impeccable presentation. The various character models in this game are some of the best that I have seen in a very long time. The whole game just looks amazing, but the level of animation here is amazing. When you have great art that is animated well, it really does make things so much better and more appealing. I really cannot oversell how good this game looks! It looks great in still pictures, but in motion, it is even better. Oh, this game also has a tremendous soundtrack as well. From a presentational point of view, this is a 10/10 and I am not exaggerating there at all.

This is a turn-based strategy game and a pretty simple one, the strategy comes into play from the way you organize your team, and also there is this elemental system where certain things can beat other things. I found the game pretty simple, but you can spend a few bucks if you want to make it easier. You can get new gear as you progress and that kind of thing, but the gameplay is quite simplistic, but in a good way.
