A Man Who Seemingly Has It All

The main character we play as in Lost at Birth is a rather interesting chap (yes I said chap, I am from the UK!). On the surface, he has it all. He has a decent job where he makes good money. He has a good wife that on the surface looks pretty. However, he wants some excitement and this is leading him down a dangerous path of wanting to have some extra martial fun if you get my drift.

Bring Me The Proof!

The twist of Lost at Birth is that while our guy is going to have lots of fun trying to hook up with women, a massive complication occurs. A young lady shows up and she is claiming that she is your daughter! We have certainly seen the whole “lost daughter” thing many times before in lewd games and while it is certainly a lewd game cliché, I feel that the way this impacts the MCs life, those around him, and the daughter herself made it a much more compelling story. I liked the way that there was a bit of a slow burn for some characters and straight to the point for some others.

Being The Best It Can

As I said in the intro, Lost at Birth is a lewd visual novel and the gameplay is not exactly the most engaging, but with a game of this style that is to be expected to be fair. The game will give you choices to make as it progresses, but as I write this, we are four chapters in and there is still more to come so I feel that the developer has kept things on track with the choices that we have gotten to make so far. If you like the kind of gameplay and passive interaction you get with a lewd visual novel, you will probably not have any complaints here.

Did I really just make an obscure to late 90s boyband LFO? Yes, I did and I am not even embarrassed about it! The presentation of Lost at Birth as of the current chapter is great. It is all done with still images (I am sure animation is sure to come) however, when the character renders are done this well, I am more than ok with the still images. What I love about the way the characters look in this game is that they have a more natural and realistic look to them which ultimately helps me get more invested in the story.
