Taking A Chance!

Our main character is your average joe and I think that The Grey Dream does a decent job of making us feel connected to this guy pretty early on. We find out that he has never had a proper decent job and now that he has graduated from university he is looking to find his place in the world and luck might have just come calling for him! You see, he ends up taking a position at this very interesting trading company which could change his life.

What Do They Do Here?

Remember that episode of The Simpsons where Homer starts a company and Bill Gates “buys” him out as they cannot figure out what he actually does? Well, The Grey Dream is kind of like that. We take up this new job and end up doing a task for the new boss and it is all so vague that we do not know exactly what is going on here. The thing is, I get the impression that this is laying the groundwork for some kind of big mystery which if it is, bravo! However, it could also be a case where it is vague because of poor writing, we will not know until chapter 2!

Keeping You On The Hook

I think one of the reasons why The Grey Dream did keep me interested was that this is a lewd visual novel that does not waste your time. There was no “fluff” in the dialogue and it all moved at what I felt was a quick pace. The current chapter that we have to play through has a few choices, but it is rather short. Yet, rather than looking at that as a negative, I think it is a positive as it kept me intrigued about what is going on here.

First Rate Babes All The Way

While the story here has certainly piqued my interest. I do have to say that the incredible character renders are a massive part of why I am finding The Grey Dream so appealing! Even just in this first chapter, we have a nice selection of ladies and they are all gorgeous, some may look a bit similar in the facial department, but I am willing to let that slide. The little bit of lewd content that chapter 1 has is great too and I am very excited to see what they have planned for the next part.
