Horizon Walker is a turn-based RPG where you meet female companions from various dimensions and join forces to battle the Forsaken Gods. As commander, you will assemble a team from these companions to face a wide array of foes; by making wise strategic choices to defeat enemies, you earn rich rewards that allow you to unlock new characters. Beyond the battlefield, you can enjoy sweet dates with your companions, creating cherished memories and unlocking special animated scenes within the home base system. As you progress, you will also earn achievement rewards that let you purchase and equip new outfits for your companions, showcasing their charm to the fullest.
The game is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth where at some point in the near future, malevolent beings known as the Forsaken Gods invaded through series of interdimensional rifts that opened all over the world. Things quickly got out of control as the Forsaken Gods and their demonic servants spread a taint known as Oblivia syndrome that turns any living being that stays close for too long into an abomination.
The player takes the role of the Human God, a human that ascended to divinity after killing a Forsaken God that was trying to possess him (via eating his own shotgun), somehow absorbing its powers in the process. Now, the Human God must work with the East Asia Bureau of Rift Management to fight against the Forsaken Gods, crazy cults and corrupt corporations, and reclaim the world for humanity.
Luckily for Earth, it wasn't just demons who came through the Rifts, but also refugees fleeing from other worlds devastated by the Forsaken Gods, some of them powerful warriors eager to get revenge. Most, if not all of these warriors are beautiful women in form-fitting outfits, rendered in full 3D, with some robots and strange creatures mixed in forming a group collectively known as the Vanguards, able to resist the Oblivia syndrome as long as they fight side-by-side with the Human God. Vanguards are obtained through the gacha system, and there's a bonding system for the player to interact with them in a home setting in ways that rocket the Fanservice to H-Game levels.
During gameplay, the player controls the Human God and a squad of Vanguards in a turn-based battle against waves of enemies, each of them possessing a range of abilities that must be combined to create synergies if the player wants to succeed.
The gacha system is different from other games of its type, allowing to draw using non-premium currency. So as long as the player earns and is wise managing the resources, getting all the banner characters and their weapons is not difficult, the catch being that the non-premium currency is also used to upgrade skills and weapons.

Expansive Worlds: Explore diverse landscapes filled with secrets, treasures, and hidden challenges.
Real-Time Combat: Engage in fast-paced battles with dynamic combos and elemental abilities.
Epic Boss Fights: Face colossal enemies that test your strategy, skill, and reflexes.
Customizable Heroes: Equip weapons, armor, and magical artifacts to suit your playstyle.
Puzzle & Exploration: Solve intricate puzzles and discover hidden passages throughout the realms.
Multiplayer & Social: Join friends, form alliances, and compete in global events and leaderboards.
Daily Quests & Challenges: Experience fresh content with daily missions, timed events, and seasonal adventures.
Stunning Visuals & Audio: Immerse yourself in beautifully crafted worlds with cinematic soundscapes.

Horizon Walker's gacha system is a bit different than others. I will try to summarize it.
Rarities are EX>SS>S>A>B. EX being the one you aim for, but even A and B rarities have uses.
There is no single pull, you can only do multi pulls which give you 5 results.
Pity is 10 multi pulls for EX(orange bar) and 4 for SS(purple bar).
Banner char or weapon is 100% guaranteed, not 50/50.
You can pull using gold, tickets, or premium currency(DON'T).
THIS IS THE DIFFERENT PART. After pulling characters YOU NEED TO CONTRACT THEM BY SPENDING FURTHER RESOURCES.
You can either contract using contract tickets(RECOMMENDED), or gold.
You will get 4-5 EX contract tickets each month, not counting one-time rewards or special occasions.
The number of banners each month is also 5. New char+weapon(2), new weapon for an old char(3), rerun char + rerun weapon(5). So the game economy expects you to pull one of each banner and use your EX tickets.
After the banner's pulling period ends, you have 1 more week to contract the character.
WEAPONS ARE VERY IMPORTANT. Dupes are not so much. In the lategame you will have enough currency to go for dupes but for the early games focus on getting the char+weapon 1 each.
While weapons are important, low rarity ones(even SS) are not. Contracting and upgrading them is a waste of resources. Only do so if you are stuck in a main story mission.
There is also a general banner. Don't pull from it using gold. You will get general banner tickets weekly and they are only usable in the general banner, so use them instead.
There are no limited characters, every char and weapon is added to the general banner.
There are a few robot characters(Manticore and Headless Knight) that you can only unlock through Special Operations. But that is a lategame thing, don't worry about it right now.

Update review time after almost 2 years. The story has been amazing, love the characters and their designs. The combat is fun, both challenging or easy and the rewards and gifts to help you level up and progress are still generous. (Generous event right now, join) Overall highly recommend the game but be aware running at high settings requires a good gaming phone. Will get hot unless you buy a phone cooling fan. In closing, try the game, high chance you will love it too, good luck and take care.
I genuinely love the game, even if it's a super gooner type of game everything about it holds good writing and gameplay that is pretty interesting and fun. I dislike the method for the gacha aspect though, spending 200k gold to draw a new lot of stuff is way too much.
Takes a min to get the hang of mechanics to build your character but gives a pretty good explanation when going over them. The gotcha mechanics are pretty original where you have gotcha tickets to roll for characters and weapons but you can only accept the item if you use a contract or pay gold to get the weapon/character.
one better game, as it tell an story and your approval is most as it good story and lovely characters and actions, as it fresh waves of experience then I used too, all the attention to the atmosphere of game is pure intense Inspiration. it one of best games, and I love as that I am find newly things when I walked into adventure.
Surprisingly nice gameplay for a gooner game. Building different team compositions is fun. And because the pull currency is generous, it is feasible to get every character even without paying.
Horizon Walker delivers a compelling blend of tactical turn-based combat and an immersive narrative set in a dark, multidimensional world where humanity battles the relentless Forsaken Gods. The game shines with its unique Vanguard system, where players recruit and develop stunning characters from beyond the dimensions, each featuring distinct skills and romance events that deepen player engagement.
