Stick War: Saga is a beloved war strategy game. Players command stick figures into various formations and construct various defensive structures to defeat a constant stream of enemies. Winning the game earns you rich rewards and unlocks even more powerful stick figures and structures. The game offers diverse gameplay options. Players can engage in fierce single-player battles with players from around the world, testing their wits, or invite friends to join them in the fun of cooperative, mutually beneficial cooperation. The game is constantly updated to bring players more exciting content and excitement.
The style of play in Stick War: Saga borrows heavily from the previous games, incorporating much of the mechanics, such as from Stick War II: Order Empire and Stick Empires, seeing the return of a second main resource. In the aforementioned Stick War entries, Mana was the secondary resource and was passively acquired by commanding a miner to pray at the statue. Crystal is introduced in Stick War: Saga, a mined resource much like gold. Additionally, several single-player and multiplayer game modes are available, and as a first for the series, the game introduces team-based gameplay with a 2v2 game mode. Winning games allow players to acquire gems to purchase cosmetic items for their units and the statue
Commands have been further refined, allowing players to order their army to the Tower using the "Attack" or "Defend" commands. Additionally, individual units may be ordered to garrison, attack, or hold position, and units can be manually controlled similarly to Stick War and Stick War: Legacy (albeit without stat bonuses). Also, miners and enslaved miners can now be commanded to attack as well as the other units. (They have separate command buttons from the other units (except for "Man the Fort" or "Defend"), meaning a player could have Castle Archidons while his/her other units are helping defend the statue. There is also Sudden Death, where once the game lasts for more than 9 minutes, Sudden Death will occur, dealing damage to both statues. If there is a tie, the left team wins.
Single Player Modes for the Ultimate Challenge: For those who prefer to hone their skills solo, Stick War: Saga offers a comprehensive and continually evolving single-player campaign. Expand your military strategies as you face off against AI-controlled armies that mimic the cunning and unpredictability of human opponents. With an ever-growing selection of customizable army types, players can create their own battle decks, allowing for personalized tactics that match their unique playstyle.
Craft Your War Decks: Building your battle deck is a critical strategy in Stick War: Saga. Players can collect and unlock a diverse range of army types, each with distinct strengths, weaknesses, and upgrade paths. Gain powerful bonuses by researching enhancements that transform your army into a formidable fighting force. For example, armed with the “Rune of Reanimation,” you can revive fallen foes as terrifying zombies, affectionately known as “Deads,” adding an eerie twist to your battlefield strategies.
Spellbinding Warfare: Enhance your tactical options with an array of spells and abilities designed to alter the course of combat. Use a colossal bubble to block incoming projectiles, providing vital respite for your ground forces, or unleash the “Snow Squall” to freeze enemy legions in their tracks, rendering them vulnerable to your onslaught. These magical elements introduce an extra layer of depth to combat, enabling creative players to outsmart their opponents with innovative strategies.
Heroes of the Battlefield: The world of Stick War: Saga is populated by powerful leaders known as Generals, each representing one of the major nations within the game. Command figures such as “Prince Atreyos,” the cunning leader of the Speartons, or “Princess Kytchu,” the illustrious bowmaster of the Archidons. Utilize their unique abilities and bolster your forces, turning the tide in critical moments during battles. Their distinctive fighting styles can add a unique flavor to your gameplay, enabling you to adapt your strategies accordingly.
Personalize Your Army: Customization takes on a new meaning in Stick War: Saga, with players able to alter the appearance of their troops. Choose from an array of unique skins that can showcase your personal style or signify your allegiance. Enhance your battlefield presence further by erecting custom statues representing your conquests, adorned in shiny gold. Express yourself with personalized voice lines and emotes, adding a layer of individuality that stands out in each match you participate in.
Multiple Game Modes: Stick War Saga offers a variety of modes that allow players to experience different aspects of warfare. These include the standard campaign mode, where you progress through different levels and face off against various nations, as well as survival and tournament modes. The different modes provide a balance of casual play and intense strategy.
Unique Unit Classes: One of the main highlights of the game is its range of unit classes. Each nation in the game boasts a different combat specialty, from sword-wielding warriors to archers, magicians, and giant units. These diverse unit types allow players to develop their own playstyle and adapt their strategies based on their opponents’ strengths and weaknesses.
Resource Management: Resource management is key to success in Stick War Saga. Players must gather resources to train units, upgrade weapons, and build defensive structures. The game incorporates mining as a core mechanic, with players needing to balance their efforts between gathering gold and preparing for battle. Effective management of resources will determine the strength and size of your army.
Upgrades and Customization: As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock various upgrades for your units. These upgrades can improve the strength, speed, and defensive capabilities of your stick warriors. Additionally, players can customize their troops with different skins and abilities to give their army a unique look and feel on the battlefield.
Strategic Depth: While the game’s mechanics are easy to grasp, mastering Stick War Saga requires a deep understanding of strategy. You need to plan your attacks, anticipate enemy movements, and decide when to defend or go on the offensive. The ability to control individual units adds another layer of complexity, making each battle a test of your tactical prowess.
I love stick war legacy and this one is definitely a great adaptation although there is some issues that I think most people can agree with. 1 of the issues is that why remove the skin system In stick war legacy I loved using the vampire sword wrath. Those were the best units EVER and I bet some people miss the skin system like I bought the vampire set and then I realized that it was useless. 2 I HATE that we have to win battles in multiplayer to unlock new units for campaign the feature makes me sad because I can never win a game whenever I’m 1v1ing 2v2inf or even just battling Somone i can never win. 3 idk if this is just me but I can’t beat the last stage in campaign it’s SOOOOOOOO Hard I can’t win I’ve tried so hard with so many units enchantments and spells please tone the ai down a bit on that last one all the rest of the levels scale nice and I never complete any level besides the first 6 in one go anyway I really hope you take some of these recommendations.
Played every stick war games you guys made. All of them are fun, especially stick empires, For this one, Campaign was great beat all the levels on insane so it is well balanced. Although multiplayer needs some work but not a whole lot. I’d say the controls are good but empires had more specific controls idk how to explain but let’s just say I make bombers and I only want to send 3 to attack at the same time and not all of them at once, I guess like a click and drag to control certain amounts of units at a time. Oh and I’m not a fan of the whole tree to unlock more cards for your deck, it seems unfair to players who match up against someone who probably hasn’t unlocked anymore cards than the opposing player but that’s just my opinion. UPDATE: Please fix this bug, the game keeps saying to update to latest version but I’ve already updated it and I can’t play multiplayer till I updated it which I did but still keeps saying it, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but it shows the same issue so I can’t play. I will rate back to 5 once it is fixed.
Stick war saga has been the stick men game out there like stick war legacy but there is just one thing bugging me and probably the rest of the players is the general week rotating. I do like the idea of that but at the same time I don’t like it because you have to spent money to get the general 4.99 dollars to buy the one general the you want to use for your builds but we can’t use them because we have to wait 6 days to get that general. I think is better if you guys can like take it off because me and the other players probably would agree with me and some disagree because if you give us all free general that would make things easy for you don’t have to spent real money or you don’t have to take it out you can make like a general shop if you are missing a general like the marrowkai if you don’t have them you can buy him with can buy them with gems or if you guys want you can buy it with money or you can make them both gems if you don’t want to spent real money of you don’t want to spent your gems the use money to buy it I hope you guys choose a good path because stick war legacy and saga has Ben the best stick men game ever the game has potential to make more fun for all of us.
