The story of Hunky City sees us deciding that we need to make something of our life so we decide to go and live with our stepfather who lives in a big city. We need to make sure that we find a job, but of course, we also are on the lookout for love as well and there is certainly no shortage of that here. What I liked about the story here is that I guess you could say it is a slice of life style of story, but it also has some other elements to it as well, there is a detective that needs our help and there is even a weird thing with aliens as well. It is the kind of story that is just so charming, you just kind of go along with the flow.

The writing in Hunky City is great and there are several love interests that we get to have some fun interactions with. There is a great selection of these jacked guys that we can chat with and see which one we clock with best. However, as well as the romance and sex stuff, I found that the NPCs that were scattered around this world were well-written as well. It was the kind of experience where I was not looking to skip the dialogue as I was completely sucked into this world. I think that they walk the fine line of making this a good and engrossing story with interesting characters as well as having more than enough humor to make you smile as you progress.

I found the gameplay of Hunky City to be fantastic! We have a fairly decent-sized world that we can explore and there are certain events and characters that we can only do and interact with at certain points of the day. We also need to make money and there are two jobs that we can do, both of which are mini-games. One of these has us working on construction and this is a Tetris like game and the other is in a bar where we need to mix drinks. Granted, you will be doing these over and over again, but I honestly never felt like they became a huge chore, although perhaps one or two more mini-games would have added a little variety to making money. You also have the dialogue sections which are kind of like a dating sim/visual novel which I also enjoyed as it made me feel like I was getting to know the characters better.
