Gameplay:

Fill every empty cell in the square with a number.

In each horizontal and vertical sequence of cells between walls, place each number starting with 1 up to the space available.

For instance, if there is only one space, place the number 1 within it. If there are two spaces, arrange the numbers 1 and 2.

If there are three spaces, arrange the numbers 1, 2 and 3 in some order. Continue entering numbers until the whole square is completed. Make sure there are no repeated numbers within each segment.

Start by placing the number 1 in cells that have only that option.

Then look for spaces with 2 squares where numbers 1 and 2 must be placed.

And finally, try to identify how to complete the rest of the square.

The puzzles themselves are the most elegant and addictive logic puzzles since sudoku. The app however feels fairly rushed, which I suppose is understandable given that it’s a free app with no ads.The most frustrating bug for me is that the puzzle timer doesn’t pause if you leave the app or lock your device. So it doesn’t actually show how long you’ve been working on the puzzle, just how long it’s been since you started it. Otherwise the bugs are all minor, nothing game-breaking that I’ve seen.Overall it’s a good way to get a taste for One Up puzzles.

fun game, appreciate the simplicity and clean design. only thing i wish is that it would load my most recent/next puzzle and i didn’t have to scroll all the way through the ones i’ve completed to find the next one.
