Endings of Pocket Mirror GoldenerTraum:

Normal End No. 1 ~ Platinum: In order to obtain this ending, you must have an incomplete Regalia collection. As long as you don’t have all three regalia, and have not gotten 1 regalia with Shattered Delusions unlocked this ending will trigger. After Goldia finds out about Enjel's true goal, she eventually takes control of her own mind and realizes that Harpae, Fleta, and Lisette are simply reflections of her, but she still never finds out who she really is. Since she doesn't understand who she really is, she recreates herself into a delusion called Platinum in order to erase all doubt. Enjel will be transported to an unknown location where Platinum sits on a throne accompanied by two seats on either side, three of which are taken by Fleta, Harpae, and Lisette. In the end, Enjel is assimilated alongside the three other girls, all seemingly in a sort of mindless state.

Normal End No. 2 ~ Dawn: This ending is obtained if you managed to get all regalia, but Enjel reaches the pocket mirror before Goldia.Enjel triumphally says that now that she's got the pocket mirror, the Strange Boy will have to make her a real girl. But instead she shatters, all the while cursing the demon for tricking her. Goldia goes through a gate that absorbs all regalia and wakes up in the real world.Once Goldia wakes up, it is discovered that she is currently living in an asylum, with her medical report stating that she has been diagnosed with lunacy, dissociation, and dementia praecox. She looks at the window and smiles, finally accepting herself. The curse is still existent and she will never be free of it, but as long as she has the pocket mirror, she'll be protected.

Normal End No. 3 ~ Little Goody Two Shoes: This ending is obtained if you managed to get all regalia and reach the pocket mirror before Enjel.Enjel laments that she'll never become a real girl, but Goldia insists she wants to accept her so they could go to the real world together. Instead, Enjel willingly shatters so that Goldia could be free. Goldia goes through a gate that absorbs all regalia (Enjel's included) and wakes up in an alternate timeline where Elise never made a contract with the "Strange Boy" and continued living as a peasant.Elise is sweeping the front of a small cottage and a young Goldia runs excitedly towards her mother, showing her a pair of ruby red shoes that she found in the flower field. Elise promises Goldia to keep them for her until she gets older, since they unfortunately are too big for her. Unfortunately, the shoes are a signal that she might make a contract with the "Strange Boy" someday.

Ending ~ Witching Hour: Failure to obtain any of the characters' regalia will trigger this ending. After the staircase chase, Enjel will suddenly disappear and Goldia is lured by a pumpkin to a large stage, where she is magically tied to a chair and forced to witness a grotesque theatre of the other characters getting brutally killed, while the "Strange Boy" happily mocks them.Fleta appears first, alongside with Egliette. The "Strange Boy" speaks of how idiotic, stupid, and spoiled she is before he slams her into a door, that afterwards is spilled with her blood. The lights go down and Lisette is the next to appear. She is shown crucified on a giant wooden cross that's already dripping with her blood. Several shredding noises can be heard, while Lisette is mocked for everyone's disbelief of her innocence, before she is torn apart on the cross. Harpae is then shown surrounded by five giant swords, trying to act "composed" and be "the daughter her parents always wanted her to be." The swords turn against her and cut her open. Finally Enjel is displayed, and while she can still speak, her limbs are bound by the same puppet strings as the others. She yells and screams at the "Strange Boy" for betraying her, but he simply laughs and gives her a mouthful of thorny brambles that end up killing her. After the horror show, the "Strange Boy" returns his attention to Goldia, finally claiming her soul.

Player Comments of Pocket Mirror GoldenerTraum:

I'm a little biased since I've been following Pocket Mirror since it's original 2016 release, but with this new remaster and the release of Little Goody Two Shoes, I can say pretty confidently that if you're an rpg maker horror game fan, you will love this game!

It's got solid and pretty simple puzzles, and the art is gorgeous. In my opinion, the most amazing part of this game is how the characters are written. I love the progression of the MCs character depending on what route you take.

It just dawned on me that, although I’ve spent many hours and quite a few sleepless nights on this game, I never actually wrote a review about it. Keep in mind that it’s been... wow, I think almost 2 years since I last played it properly, so this review might not be entirely up to date and will mostly rely on my memories. When I was in junior high, I had a friend who loved horror RPGs. I remember us sitting in her room in the early 2010s, glued to her computer screen. I found it fascinating, but I never quite dared to dip my own feet into that world. Well, not yet, at least. Then around November of 2023, for no particular reason, I bought this game while it was on sale. I didn’t think much of it aside from it being a way to pass the time. But in a surprising turn of events, this was the game that actually got me into gaming in general.Pocket Mirror, as another user here pointed out, is a piece of art in its own way. It’s evident that a lot of time, effort, and love were poured into it. The art, the speech bubbles, the outfits, and the music are beautifully and meticulously crafted, and everything comes together beautifully. I loved the chase sequences; they kept me on my toes and gave me that adrenaline rush, so I really enjoyed them! The puzzles were difficult enough to keep me interested but not too hard so as to send me to the walkthrough right away. That said, the game certainly isn’t perfect, and there were a few aspects I didn’t enjoy as much. For one, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the endings, or rather the explanation for why our main character ended up in that mysterious world to begin with. I can go into more detail about what I mean, but I don’t want to spoil anything for others, so I’ll just leave it at that. Still, it doesn’t take away from how much I love this game or how dearly I hold it in my heart. All in all, I consider Pocket Mirror close to a masterpiece, and I still find myself listening to the soundtrack! Especially ''Vienna Blood" and ''Girl's Midnight Secret''!As mentioned above, this was the game that started it all, so I just want to end this review with a big thank you to every person who had a part in making this creation a reality. It opened a door to a world I had always been hesitant to enter, a wonderfully captivating, if slightly horrifying, wonderland. I'm glad this was my first proper game and I will always think fondly of it.

Walkthrough of Pocket Mirror GoldenerTraum:

Red Room

Click on the mirror.

Click on the gold glowy thing behind you (that’s your mirror)

Click on the mirror again.

Grab the red thing behind you now (the red marble)

Go out the door to your right.

Insert the marble where it says to.  This will open the door below you.

Marble Area

The game will tell you to put the marble you just got into one of those holes.  Go ahead and do that.

BEFORE YOU GO ANY FURTHER: Check out that neat savebox.  Now would be a good time to save.  Enter the room below you.

Green Room

Once you enter the green room, go right & look at the drawing on the wall.  A piece of paper will appear on the door.  Check that out, then go check the wall on the other side of the doorto (the one with the single rose).

You can now leave the room.

Marble Area

Insert the marble into the hole to the left of the red marble by selecting it from your menu.  From there, the room to your right will open up.  Go in it.

Purple Room

Check out the table & quill.  Once you read what it said, go on the left or right side of the table, and push it either way.  Behind it will be a hole with a marble.

Choose to reach for it, and then get ready to slam either z, spacebar, or both (both is faster).

You can now leave the room.

Marble Area

Place the purple marble in it’s hole (the one right in front of you if you just left the room). You can now go in the upper door.

Blue Room

Check out the curtains straight ahead of you in the room/look out the window.

Then go click on the curtains to the left of you.  It doesn’t matter what you tell them, they’ll give you the marble anyway.

You can now leave the room.

Marble Area

Place the marble in the hole right below you.  This will reactivate the red room you woke up in.  Click on the door & choose “force it open”.

Red Room

To the left of the bed of flowers you woke up on, check out that line of pixels.  Surprise!  It’s a finger.

Check out where that finger is pointing to (the left wall).  Read the riddle.

Go back to the main marble room.

Marble Area

In the main room, click on the left window.  Boom!  Marble.

Ok, now click on the hole in the middle.  The main character gives you an idea what to put in that one.  (it’s your pocket mirror of course!)

Place the mirror in.  The room will shake & give you some stairs.

PICK UP THE MIRROR BEFORE YOU LEAVE unless you want a game over.  Leaving the Mirror behind in certain places is always an instant game over.

Leave to the next room.

Final Thoughts:

Pocket Mirror GoldenerTraum offers a richly immersive experience that blends surreal gothic horror with strikingly cute anime visuals, creating a uniquely unsettling atmosphere. Players take on the role of a nameless girl awakening in a mysterious, shape-shifting mansion armed only with a small pocket mirror. The game’s design hinges heavily on exploration, puzzle-solving, and dialogue choices that markedly affect the story’s outcome, elevating tension with the risk of sudden, tragic endings.

Unstoppable adventure!

Life’s forward momentum never pauses-time flows relentlessly, indifferent to our actions. This unstoppable progression mirrors certain game mechanics where movement is irreversible. In the context of 2D gaming, this often translates to constant forward motion: your character cannot simply freeze in place. Whether by design or physics, the inability to halt becomes a core challenge, forcing players to adapt and strategize in real time. The steps you take, much like time itself, cannot be undone-only navigated with precision.

A child's adventurous imagination.

The thrill of adventure was once a magical dream of childhood, a fantasy that filled our young hearts with excitement. Back then, the desire to explore and uncover the unknown was an instinct so deeply ingrained that it felt inseparable from our very being. If time has made you forget that feeling, now is the moment to rediscover it. If you still remember it, take a moment to reminisce and relive those cherished memories. And if you are still immersed in that adventurous spirit, then embrace it fully and continue the journey with joy. After all, the love for adventure belongs to every child at heart, no matter their age.
