Comments of Seasons of Loss:

Now, as a premise, that is something I have experienced before. Most of us that are into lewd games have played these “bully” games where the bully bangs the mom before. However, the characters in this game are just so dumb! There is no denying it, it is like it has to be a deliberate choice, I just do not see how the characters can be this stupid by accident. The story did not turn me off or anything like that, but as I said in the intro, I was pulled into the game by the art so perhaps I was more forgiving with the way the story followed.

This is a great set of kinetic novels from NTRMAN. While there are a few token choices in the first two episodes, they have no real impact, solidifying the "kinetic" format. I recall that after the first episode's release, there was a hinted branching path involving Tsugumi and her sister, but it seems the developer ultimately moved away from his classic two-route idea in favor of a linear narrative.What else can be said about these novels? The visuals maintain a simplified style—likely for optimization. However, this potential shortcoming is more than compensated for by excellently chosen musical tracks and a powerful story. And the story here is essentially one single arc: the transformation of Satoshi. We witness an intelligent schoolboy, who loves his mother and has love feelings for his childhood friend, gradually turn into a complete bastard who begins to see women as pieces of meat for fucking and other people as mere tools for his own life.This is precisely why I disagree with some reviewers who claim the third episode is unrelated to the first two and is more of a spin-off. That isn't the case. It is a direct continuation of Satoshi's story, just shown through the lens of another character—a guy whose archetype mirrors Satoshi from the first episode (also a nerdy schoolboy with a childhood friend he has feelings for, and also the only son of a single mother longing for male affection). So, all three episodes form one cohesive narrative—the story of what broke Satoshi and turned him into the very Kujo he once despised.

As a mom NTR fan, this game is an absolute gem.There may be a lot of debate but overall, it's undisputed that the game has a high quality: It's animated, fully voiced and has a beautiful graphic style. It feels lively which enhances greatly the immersion.The bad reviews are mostly because of the two last episodes, which feels a bit rushed, mainly because the last one was a remake of another game.Personally, the Autumn episode is my favorite, but it really depends on your kinks.The game offers you a slow, painful descent into lust and abandonment. The emotional weight hits hard, and the sexual tension is unbearable in the best way.It’s not just fap material — it haunts you. If you're into dark, raw, and emotionally twisted stories, this one delivers.

When it comes down to the type of visual novel that Seasons of Loss is, I have to say that it is one of those ones that has an illusion of choice. The game does give you some choices to make as you progress through the story, but some of these feel like they do not matter at all! I get that they at least keep the player a bit more invested in the “game” however, they tend to feel like a waste of time more often than not. However, on the plus side of this, I feel that the amazing art made me care less that I was not making any meaningful choices as I progressed through the game.
