At first glance, it might look like some kind of tropical paradise, but you soon discover it's home to all sorts of hot chicks who want nothing more than to "attack" you. I'm sure you know what I mean by "attack"!

Who, what, why, when, where?

Harem Island's story makes almost no sense to me. Honestly, the translation is pretty crude. Furthermore, the plot is a complete mess. Case in point: a really hot black chick who appears for a single shot and then disappears, along with the rest of the game! You never really feel like you're getting the plot, but to be fair, the game has a gritty charm to it that I enjoy. However, if you're playing it for the story, I have to say you might be disappointed.

Main Event!

While Harem Island's plot can be a bit thin and difficult to follow, that's all forgivable given its incredibly engaging erotic content. There are some absolutely epic sex scenes, like the opening scene with my girlfriend, the face-to-face sitting scene, and the sex scene with the monster girl. The game boasts a plethora of charming characters, my favorites being the incredibly hot Miki and the red-dressed girl who looks like Ada Wong (I can't even remember her name as I write this). The sex scenes are also incredibly well-animated. The scene with my girlfriend, where she's on top, features some of the best animation I've ever seen!

I love a good erotic visual novel and erotic sandbox game, and Harem Island stands out in that it's a step above the standard erotic visual novel. At the same time, I have to say, it's still a bit too far to be considered a purely erotic adventure game. Most of your actions involve selecting dialogue options or using on-screen arrows to choose where the main character should go. These are basic controls, but to be fair, you only need to click a few times until you reach the next sex scene. Thankfully, when the options pop up, it’s easy to know which one to choose so you can get on with your erotic fun!
