Folks saying the players are too hard in Jam... thats the point. It starts you with a very beatable opponent, but every time you set a new best time, it pairs you with someone just SLIGHTLY faster, which IMO is great for helping you get better at the game. It's not P2W either, though I believe the requirements for bike #9 are too much. Getting level 5 in versus will take a lot of playing, especially if you're not a fan of the mode. Otherwise, one of the best Android games are out there, for sure.
I started playing this 5 years ago and I still play it daily. It's the only game that has kept me coming back for more. You don't have to pay to advance, and I recommend you don't, because you'll gain a lot of experience progressing by playing a lot. Getting rid of ads is cheap, and there's no unobtainable content that makes it P2W.
