Hicked is a visual novel game set in Japan. The game is set in a unique dystopian future world, immersing players in a newly built capital city of Kanagawa Prefecture. In Hicked, players take on the role of Ikaru Kai, who moves from a remote rural town to Kanagawa and encounters a unique new race with distinctive white hair, known as the God Killers. You will need to explore this newly built capital city of Kanagawa, interacting with various characters, collecting clues, and gradually uncovering the origins of the God Killers race.
This is a story of a world far, far away from the present.
When the moon has gone, the stars are dim, and the light has disappeared from the night sky.
In such a monochrome world, the two have met.
The story is set in a dystopian future Japan. Civilization, once destroyed in world war , has been rebuilt after hundreds of years. And as the symbolizing of the new world, Kannagawa, the new capital prefecture of Japan was born.
Ikaru Kai, the protagonist from a rural town, has moved into Kannagawa and encounters a new race of people called “God Killers”, who’s known as people with distinctive white hair, and learns of the pitiful situation they’re facing due to the discrimination they have endured.
He may not be able to do something as grand as changing the world, but he still wants to at least lend a helping hand. With this thought in mind, he meets Makiri Shogo, a bullied classmate who is a God Killer.
