Takashi Ninja Warrior Samurai is an action RPG in which you take on the role of a ninja on a quest to defeat an evil tyrant. You will battle the tyrant’s minions across various environments—from villages and temples to forests—leveraging the terrain and your own agile movement to outmaneuver foes, strike at the perfect moment, and secure victory along with valuable rewards. The gameplay is fast-paced; encounters are brief and intense, and a single moment of inattention can lead to your demise. As you progress, you will face increasingly formidable enemies, requiring you to upgrade your ninja skills, weapons, and armor to bolster your combat prowess. The game also offers deep customization options, allowing you to tailor your ninja’s appearance and gear to suit your personal aesthetic preferences.
Takashi Ninja Warrior Samurai uses a virtual joystick layout standard on mobile action RPGs. The left side of the screen controls movement across Kurome’s 3D environments. The right side holds the attack, dodge, and special ability buttons. The control scheme is straightforward to pick up, but the depth comes from how players combine these inputs under pressure.Combat encounters involve more than button pressing. Each enemy type in the game has a distinct behavior pattern. Foot soldiers attack predictably, which makes them good practice targets. Samurai move more deliberately and hit harder. Assassins close distance fast and punish players who stand still. Because enemy behavior changes based on type, players must adjust their approach in every room.
How sword strikes, light combos, and heavy attacks function: Light attacks produce rapid three-to-four hit combos. Each hit in the chain builds momentum and keeps enemies staggered. Therefore, starting a fight with light attacks is usually the right move against standard enemies. However, against armored targets, light combos deal reduced damage per strike. For those encounters, a heavy attack breaks the enemy’s defensive stance and opens them up for follow-up hits. The weapon equipped at any moment changes how both light and heavy attacks feel. Swords deliver balanced speed and damage. Axes deal higher damage but swing slower. Each weapon type has a different hit arc, which matters when fighting multiple enemies at once. Players who switch weapons based on encounter type — rather than sticking to one — survive longer in Kurome’s harder zones.
How dodge, counterattack, and the Deflect Counter Attack system operate: Dodging in Takashi Ninja Warrior Samurai moves the character laterally or backward to avoid incoming strikes. A well-timed dodge followed immediately by a light or heavy attack counts as a counterattack, dealing bonus damage. This rhythm — dodge then counter — is the core defensive loop that the game rewards. Moreover, health drains quickly without it, especially in direct engagements against boss warriors. The Deflect Counter Attack is a more advanced version of this system. Activating it requires the player to tap the block input at the precise moment an enemy strike lands. A successful deflect launches a follow-up counterattack automatically. Surrounding enemies also step back when this activates, which creates space in multi-enemy situations. Mastering the Deflect Counter Attack is what separates beginner play from skilled play in Kurome’s tougher areas.

Open-World Exploration: The world features interconnected 3D environments, including ancient temples, burning villages, and cursed forests, all hiding secrets and various loot.
Stealth & Assassination: Beyond direct confrontation, players can utilize shadows and stealth tactics to perform silent takedowns on unsuspecting guards.
Character Progression: As a deep RPG, the game allows for extensive customization through weapon upgrades, armor sets, and unlockable magical abilities.
Boss Encounters: Each major region culminates in intense "mortal combat" style boss fights that test the player's mastery of specific combat techniques.
Tactical Combat: Gameplay centers on fast-paced swordplay, requiring players to master dodges, counterattacks, and stamina management to defeat diverse enemies ranging from standard samurai to elite shield-bearers.

Smart use of the skill tree is crucial in the game. Beginners should first unlock damage boost and stamina-related skills, as these help in every fight.
Each boss has a specific attack pattern that must be observed. The best strategy is to attack within the short opening window that appears after dodging.
Enemies in the game differ not only in strength but also in behavior. Shielded enemies easily block frontal attacks, so side or back attacks are best against them. Fast enemies drain stamina, while heavy enemies are slow but deal high damage.
Light weapons are best for fast combos and quick dodges, while heavy weapons deal more damage in limited hits. When upgrading a weapon, focus not only on attack power, but also on speed and stamina cost.
If Takashi’s stamina drops to zero, he becomes temporarily vulnerable, which can be deadly in boss fights. It’s best to dodge after 2-3 hits to recover stamina.
Even advanced players sometimes fail due to overconfidence. Spamming attacks without a stamina check, running into enemy crowds, and choosing the wrong weapon are some of the most common mistakes that beginners make. So avoid it!

Great game, having alot of fun. It's challenging too, you can't just run up to enemies and spam your attack button. It actually takes some skill to take down mobs especially boss fights. There's definitely a bit of a learning curve but I like that, I hate games that are too easy. Camera gets a little glitchy at times but it's not too bad. Wish there was a little more customization as well. Still all in all they earned those 5 stars.
This game is really good! The graphics are impressive, the background music is awesome, and the different levels make the gameplay exciting. One of the best features is that when you die, all the items you collected are dropped, including coins, voucher cards, and Blue Stones. You can use the coins to upgrade your character and buy a katana. As you progress through the game, make sure to collect the checkpoints to save your progress. Overall, it's a fun and challenging game that I highly recomme.
It is very great. I liked the difficulty. It was genuinely hard, but I get used to it and I'm starting to parry like an absolute unit, but I think the delay in parry is actually holding a lot of people, if there's no delay when parrying, like when you are attack and click the guard, it should do the action as quickly as you click it, but no, there is a delay which hold me back. if that delay aint there, I would be unstoppable when it comes to deflecting, tho, I like the difficulty.
Awesome game . Just a few recommended adjustments. The jump and dash button are a bit too close to the attack button and during fights accidental jumps and dashes happen . Also all the essence dissappear just after dying . And some modes are still in development. Other than that amazing game . My favourite RPG game.
Overall, Takashi Ninja Warrior is an excellent 3D action game that's halfway between the Souls saga and Tenchu. On top of all that, it's campaign mode is extensive enough to keep you entertained for hours.Takashi Ninja Warrior is reminiscent of the great game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but on a smaller scale. The maps are relatively large and open, with fast-paced, deadly battles. There are also statues scattered across the maps that you can use to quickly travel between areas or heal your warrior.
