Story:

The story begins with Maxwell and Lily received two amazing gifts from their parents, the amazing globe that can take you to anywhere it’s pointed at; and the powerful notebook that can create anything out of thin air, all you have to do is to write down what you want inside of it.

As their parents don’t want the two kids to turn as spoiled and ungrateful kids, they’ve sent the two in their journey to explore and help to turn the world into a better place. However, just like they’ve predicted, the two siblings were quite naughty and have played a cruel prank on an old man begging for food. Thus, they’ve gotten what they deserve with Lily being slowly turned into stone.

Maxwell and Lily start looking for help from their eldest brother Edwin, who’s also very mad with their nasty trick. However, lucky for the two, their brothers know how to solve the curse which was put on them.

And according to him, they must go and look for some kind of magical energy called Starlites, which can be created by the appreciations of others once you help them. Thus, Maxwell begins his journey to help his sister by using his magical notebook to assist others with their problems.

But i cant believe that this game is directed towards children, because some of the levels are pretty hard... especially Capital city runoff!!!this game is for creative people that like puzzles and are a child at heart. In Scribblenauts you use your magical notebook to create creatures or items so you can solve puzzles. It is a quite unique mechanic, that I'm not sure I've encountered before. Although the game is quite fun, a lot of the puzzles are barely puzzles, as some of the puzzle descriptions practically tell you what to do, but the game was made with children in mind, so if you don't expect The Witness from this you'll enjoy it.

I had to play through it twice to get 100 percent achievements, as my save randomly overwrote itself with a blank save when I had just got the 60 starite achievement. It's Scribblenauts - good, clean, family-friendly creative fun; if you need a sales shpiel you're doing it wrong. But the technical issue bears mentioning. I resorted to making a backup before I closed the game, every time I played, until I got all the achievements.
