Modes:

The game will have two main game modes: Career and PvP. They are both good in their own way and will reward you whether you win or lose, but it’s obviously better to win! So let’s see which ones you should be focusing on the most:

Career Mode: This is basically the story mode, and this will reward you with a ton of good stuff, such as Coins and Gems, so I definitely suggest that you play this Career Mode as much as you can – just keep i mind that very early on you will need to save up 5000 Coins to buy a Golf so that you can unlock the next race which is Golf-only.

PvP Mode: This is where you will compete against another player in a 1v1 race. The PvP mode is fun, but in order to win a lot of races you will need to get better cars than the ones you get at the very start and make all the upgrades possible.

In my opinion it is the best if you can play the Career Mode as much as possible to collect a lot of Coins and be able to make all of these upgrades and purchase new cars.

Once you have saved up enough Gold and bought a better car (and made all the right upgrades) you can go ahead and play as many PvP battles as you want, without much fear of losing them!

Try Hitting Your Opponent from Behind As You Try to Pass By: Yes, this might be considered a dirty trick, but it is part of the game and you actually get points for doing it. Hitting your opponent will cause them to crash a bit and will allow you to gain an advantage and some separation. So make sure you try doing this when your passing by your opponent for some advantage. Of course, you have to be careful as well of your opponents doing this, which is why don’t use your nitro outright in case you encounter this, you’ll have a way to catch up.

Upgrade Your Vehicle: It’s important to remember that your vehicle will have a big factor in determining your chances of winning. It helps if you can purchase the best vehicles available in the class if not, you should focus on upgrading the vehicle you use to make sure it’s powerful enough to compete during races.

Play the Single Player Mode: Trying to rank up in PVP requires you to win as many races as you can in that mode. But it’s also important that you still the career mode in single player. This is because it will help you get more resources, which you can use for purchasing vehicles or upgrading them.

Don’t Immediately Use Your Nitro: One of the things that you need to avoid doing in PVP races is using your Nitro early on. Unlike in races against the AI, where Nitro is scattered all over the track, PVP races don’t have them, so your Nitro becomes an important commodity, and reserving them is important. Remember, it’s a race and you don’t win by being first early on so don’t try to use it to get an early advantage. Use your nitro past midway through the race to breeze past your opponent and then just keep on using the little that you get to create a distance as you get close to the finish line.
