Learn where the engine is on vehicles. While this is less relevant in early Derby modes where engines are primarily located in the front, as supercars and heavy vehicles become more prominent, learning where the enemy's engine is makes it easier to attack them.

This is most relevant for tank operators. For example, the MAZ537 has its engine located behind the driver in the center of the vehicle. This area cannot be hit by normal cars in all circumstances short of a lucky shot with a Boulder or by ripping off an entire side of wheels. A tank operator can simply shoot the engine cabin for a quick kill. This also applies to other tanks, where it is possible to shoot the turret or the engine with a HE Shell for a quick kill.

Tanks may be powerful, but all tanks have their engine located in the rear of the vehicle. More importantly, they spawn with only one shell and must collect powerups in order to get another shot. Attack them from behind at as high a speed as possible to expose their engine bay, and deny them access to powerups.
