Examine Your Cards before Deploying Them: So it’s your turn and you are planning to teach your opponent a lesson. You are so furious at the way he reduced your hero’s HP that you blindly deployed a card thinking it will be the best one. But wait. Have you checked other playable cards? Maybe there are cards that have added benefits when played. Maybe there’s a trick card, or a buff card or a card whose stats increase automatically once played on heights or when a zombie gets frozen. You just have to tap on each playable card when your turn arrives to check what bonus benefits they have to offer besides attacking opponent cards.It totally depends on the situation you are in, the resources (sun/brains) you currently have and the cards deployed by your opponent. And so it is crucial to check each playable card before deploying it in the lanes.

Cards Do Extra Damage or Get a Stats Boost When Placed on Special Terrain: You can take advantage of special lanes such as water, heights etc. by playing those cards that do extra damage or receive stats boost when placed on such lanes. Plant cards like the Cabbage-Pult gets +1 ATK and +1 HP when placed on heights. Make sure you include such cards in your deck before starting a battle.

Don’t Ignore Basic Packs: If there are no gem-related quests, then you can try to purchase a basic pack. A basic pack can be easily acquired with coins. You can earn them after each PvP or campaign battle. Don’t turn a blind eye to basic packs, because they usually contain those cards that require fewer suns/brains, and by now you know that protecting your hero is crucial to win a battle.When the game starts, you will have fewer resources and such cards will be of immense help to protect your hero in the first stages of play. Having a mix of rare, common and uncommon cards in your deck will help you manage your fighters well.

An Amphibious Card Can Be Very Useful in Battle: An amphibious card can be very useful in battle because no other cards, except amphibious cards, can be placed on a water lane. This makes your opponent’s hero extremely vulnerable to your card’s attack as he cannot place any card opposite your amphibious card.In case the game has drawn an amphibious card for you and you have the required resources to play it, don’t hesitate; just place it on the water lane. It will attack your opponent’s hero, reducing his HP in every turn until and unless your opponent deploys a trick card that changes your amphibious card’s position or places his amphibious card opposite yours on the same water lane.Players who are playing zombies should also beware of strikethrough and splash fighters as they can harm amphibious cards.

PvZ was one of the first games I ever played, I have beaten it on several Acadians witheach play through being just as enjoyable as the last, but when EA bought pop-cap yearsago, this experience changed so drastically that I can barley recognize it at all. First ofall, the ads. I know that PvZ is a free game and it's how they get their money but this isjust a new low. Ads cover almost every corner of PvZ, you want a power-up, ad. want anew lawnmower, ad. And you guess what's played after literally every level you beat, youguessed it, ADS! Ads are everywhere in this game and it's destroying my sanity. Secondof all, bull crap micro transactions. After beating the adventure mode, you will have avery minimal amount of gameplay to experience because the mini games and upgradesare so dam expensive. The only way you would probably be able to get all the content isspending a minimum of around ten dollars. You could grind levels over and over again toeventually get some reasonable amount of income to buy upgrades but this could takehours open ours of repetitive grinding to achieve. EA ruined a timeless masterpiece forthe feeding of the own greed and I am very disappointed of what they have done to thisclassic title...

I love plants versus zombies so much it's one of my favorite games ever heck I even haveplushy's of the characters but not every last one though but there are a few problemsthat I don't like, starting with every time I want to buy a lawnmower pool cleaner or roofcleaner, I get ads, nothing in wrong right but every time I always get lingo kids ads whichis extremely annoying because come to think about it I'm not three years old anymore I'mlike 12 four times the age and also they are just so much Micro transactions in the firstand second games like what happened back in the day everything used to be so gooduntil EA came along and just destroyed it with their greed because now it's no longerabout fun and happiness it's only about the money but the only reason why I put fivestars instead of three stars is because it gives me so much memories, a nostalgic timeruined by greed, just like the other post said and also because spamming ads annoys meas well.

So first of all, I LOVE this game. I'm still trying to get all the achievements! I rememberwhen I was only a few years old, I would play Begouled Twist and Portal Combat ALL THETIME! But enough of that. I'm here to talk about some glitches that are fairly annoying. Idon't want to speak for everyone, but chances are you've encountered these glitchestoo. So first off there's this really odd one that I encountered just a few minutes ago.Basically, I was on a file that had not yet unlocked Survival, then I went to my completedfile, and Survival was still locked! To fix this glitch, I had to close the game and start itback up again. There was also this other one where I tried to watch an ad to get a freerake, and then the game crashed! I don't want to be too harsh on the game, I mean it'spretty old and every game has glitches, but since I play this game every day, Popcapshould definitely fix these glitches. Other than that and the ads (which is a whole othertopic)I think this game is really good.
