Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition is a highly popular adventure game where players explore a vast game world, accepting various quests in different regions to uncover touching or tragic stories and advance the plot. Players can also engage in intense battles with various monsters, skillfully using their weapons and abilities to defeat them and reap rich rewards, continuously improving their combat power. In this adventure, players can customize their character's appearance and voice style, encountering diverse companions and enjoying this thrilling journey!
Nestled high on the cliffs from the Sword Coast is the citadel of Candlekeep – home to all the records and secrets of Faerùn. This is a fortress of the old dynasty, it is majestic and isolated to keep away from dangerous plots from outside. Although this citadel is in a remote place and full of dangerous rocks, it is your home.
You are an orphan raised and educated by the sage Gorion. Almost twenty years of your life were spent here – the citadel of Candlekeep. In a place filled with sacred knowledge, you are taught by Gorion and told thousands of stories about heroes and monsters, warriors, love and tragedy. However, you are always curious about your identity but Gorion never answers. He thinks your past is not too important so you don’t need to worry too much.
One day, Gorion became quieter and more distant from you. Even though you cared and asked him, he still did not return like before. The two became more and more distant. Today, Gorion suddenly became tense and agitated. He gave you some gold and some equipment, asking you to leave this place immediately. He asks you to go out into the world and find something. Everything is so rushed and unexpected, what will you do next in the outside world? What is Gorion hiding? Who is your real identity? This journey will probably answer it all.
At the beginning of the game Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition you will have to learn a lot of things to start the game. Search NPCs for various information. Each time you choose a different answer, the NPC may present a different situation or task. Sometimes NPCs won’t talk to you if you choose an answer they don’t like, but you can try again and again, so don’t worry.

Massive 75+ Hours: The system allows each person to enjoy 60 hours of play in an extremely large world. From there, interesting content will be discovered quickly through expansions.
Deep Character Customization: Each character is carefully invested in many different aspects. Specifically, you can hear each character’s voice and unique storylines.
Enhanced Game Features: The combat mechanism is completely improved but still creates nostalgia for players. From there, they can observe everything at different distances easily.
Challenging Battle Modes: Power is often emphasized in a world that is in the Middle Ages style. Over time, you can freely choose the challenges that appear in The Black Pits or Durlag’s Tower.
Engaging Main Quest: The system can completely open up dark mysteries that help you know what happens to the Sword Coast. From there, you will want to open up its aspects by completing the battle.
Compelling Side Adventures: During the journey, each person can meet different characters. They can quickly ask for your help, like Rasaad and Neera, to change the current exploration experience.

Use the TAB key to highlight things you can open or interact with. I’ve talked to a lot of people who didn’t realise this and it will certainly make life easier.
Similarly, you have turned on AI scripts in the character pages right? While the AI isn’t perfect and often not even good, your NPCs doing “something” is generally always better than doing nothing.
Just as your characters are stronger, so are your enemies. You may need a magic weapon to even hit them (+1, +2 etc). Try to keep away from weapons who can’t hit protected enemies but be aware that the game will occasionally make them useless too! Give yourself options and don’t sell things off. You don’t really need the money.
Shops discount according to the charisma of your current leader. So make sure to select appropriately before spending up.
Having said that, you rarely need to buy much unless you have a very specific build. The game will throw powerful items at you frequently and you will be well supplied.
You will frequently need some way to deal fire or acid damage. So if you don’t have a lot of mages along for the ride, make sure to hang onto these types of weapons.
You will need spells like Breach, Pierce Magic, or Pierce Shield to get through some enemies. Try to get into the habit of starting a fight, casting debuffs on the enemy mage (or dragon) and taking them out first. If they do get all their buffs up, you can quickly find a battle going downhill. Similarly a thief and a well aimed sneak attack can turn the tide.
If you can’t take out the mage, use a spell like imprisonment to keep them out of battle for a few rounds. Once everybody is dead they are much less of a threat and you can wait out their buffs or dismantle them at your leisure.
Being hasty doesn’t generally pay. In this game it works wonders so always try to keep it applied.
One of the best part of the game is the romances and party interactions. Be aware that your party composition does matter. Good and evil characters don’t mix and it will eventually come to blows. Plan appropriately.

I'm guessing that people who are complaining about interface issues didn't play thisgame when it first came out, or they would be raving about the improvements. I stillremember what it was like juggling six fragile CDs and interminable waits between areas.I remember fiddly targeting and parties hung in doorways and big battle slowdowns fromcertain spell effects. That said, I'm still seeing some of those latter problems, I'm justsaying that they're original problems inherent to the game. I love being able to control allthose tiny menu windows at a touch instead of the old wrist tiring mouse hunt method.I've not had any problems with controlling my party and navigating the overland areas(clearing the fog of war edge to edge on every map has always been a favorite pastime ofmine), and the added ability to zoom in and out is a huge upgrade, especially in tightindoor areas. It's running better than I could have expected on my IPad 1 on iOS 5, and Ilike what I've seen so far of the new content. Anyone who balks at the price of this (asopposed to some $0.99 throwaway trash app) should consider that back in the day I hadto pay $50 for this set, and I had to buy it twice because those darned CDs keptbreaking. And I did buy it again, because the game and the story it tells is among thebest that's ever been.
I played through Baldur's Gate when it was originally released many years ago and playedit again five years later and then yet again five years later. Unfortunately, my oldcomputer went toast and I swore off PC gaming forever because of the ridiculous costsand hassles of keeping a computer up to date. I had long thought the iPhone and iPadcould make perfect platforms for some old classic games. And here it is-- Baldur's Gate,in full iPad glory. Zooming made easy, click with a finger, and you can see all containerseasily. L just finished it tonight and I'm a completionist, which means I look in everycontainer and in every nook and cranny for content. There were zero problems and manyold bugs fixed. [I do wish they would've fixed the old character scripting issue forthieves set to "Thief Aggressive" where pathing is interrupted whenever the thiefautomatically attempts to hide in shadows and/or a failure of shadow hiding, but alas...JAfriend bought this game for me... I didn't know of its existence on iPad prior to then. NowI'm downloading BG 2 and then Icewind Dale. I do hope Icewind Dale 2 AND Planescape:Torment are in the works!!
Wow, I remember getting the original bauldurs gate on pc with 8 cd roms to run(bg1seems so small now!) Now the thing fits on my iPad. Admittedly the touchscreen is acompromise, but once I got the hang of it, I was off. There is a tremendous wiki for thegames and still boasts an active community at the time of this writing. I really wantedplanescape to be a better game (how do you wind up with a linear adventure on the greatring?) but that's no fault of the folks who ported this stuff. I've had immense enjoymentfrom this entire bundle, with a replay I'm doing for the third time now. Taking charactersfrom the core 3 games is very easy and extremely satisfying to the power player whounderstands the game mechanics. Thanks for the blast from the past from the superior inevery way, ADnD 2e. (Sorry you 5e wimps, this is challenging on even core rules, andspoon feeds nothing to you. Also there are no half dragon/tiefling/goliath bard-paladin-sorcerer-artificer-there's play tested balance for a reason.)
An epic world opens up for you to visit with Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition. This is a perfect new version that improves many elements compared to the original of the same name. However, the plot, characters, and gameplay are generally kept the same. That makes you feel more familiar and comfortable when joining. You transform into a hero who is passionate about doing good deeds throughout an extremely exploratory adventure.
