Mycopsychosys is a story-driven survival game where players face frequent spore storms across the country. Players must adhere to the protection rules issued by the Plague Control Department (PCD). Facing a constant stream of people knocking on your door, you must question them according to the rules and decide whether to refuse them entry or allow them to enter for mutual survival. Your choices will lead the story in different directions. Will you ultimately be able to successfully overcome this crisis?
The gameplay of Mycopsychosys is built around interaction and choice. You spend most of your time inside your house, reading messages, responding to visitors, and consulting official information provided by the Plague Control Department. The danger does not rush at you with flashing lights or alarms. It waits quietly, testing your patience and reasoning.
Each interaction feels like a mental chess move. Someone asks for shelter. Another person claims to be immune. A familiar face appears with an unfamiliar story. You must decide whom to trust and whom to keep out. These moments are simple on the surface, yet heavy in meaning. A single wrong decision can spiral into chaos.
The game also introduces a dedicated web-based PCD page that provides background on spores, signs of infection, and safety measures. This adds a layer of realism, making the emergency feel organized and official. If you are offline, the same information is stored in the Survivor Manual folder to ensure no depth is broken.
There are no quick reflex tests or complex controls. The real challenge lies in reading between the lines. The gameplay feels like holding a fragile glass object while walking through darkness. One careless move, and it shatters.

Pay Attention to Details: The game’s narrative and puzzles often hide subtle clues within the environment, so take your time and explore thoroughly.
Make Strategic Decisions: Your choices throughout the game can significantly alter the storyline, so think carefully before making any decisions.
Solve Puzzles Methodically: Many puzzles require you to think outside the box, so try different approaches and don’t be afraid to revisit old clues for new insights.
Keep Track of Your Emotions: As the game focuses on psychological themes, stay aware of how your decisions may affect the protagonist’s mental state as well as the story’s progression.
Embrace the Horror: Allow yourself to fully experience the suspense and mystery. The more you immerse yourself in the eerie atmosphere, the more rewarding the experience will be.

I saw this game played by ManlyBadassHero and got my attention, despite I already knew most of the stuff before I got the game, I mostly got the game to support the devs. It's a short novel that the first attempt may take up to 15-20 minutes + if you read all the dialogue, if you go for all the endings, might take you at least 2 hours or so.I don't have much to say gameplay wise since it's a novel game, having it time based however brings quite some randomness to it and each instance can be different which makes it somewhat each game random with unexpected turns, which got me off guard at first seeing Onna infected, thinking about what I did wrong, which in reality, the only thing I did wrong was that I didn't answered her quicker. As for each character in particular, they are all likable in their own way... But none beats the Makima Silvia, which manages to somehow break the 4th wall and know that she's in a visual novel, knows your local time, reads your PC's name just like what you would expect in a horror visual novel per say, if there's any character I'm more excited about, it's Silvia, she's that kind of oddity that lives in that world, but doesn't belongs there, knows the YOU behind the screen, even the number of times I replay the game, she absolutely got me when I saw her counting up to 3 times me replaying the game, I hope she is more talked about and documented, hell, even if she makes an appearance again in the next game I'll be happy.
Great game!!! I watched a youtuber play through some of it and I immediately went to get it myself. Never got to play the original, but I'm glad I found out about this game anyway. The setting is super cool I like the concept, and the characters are great too. Very excited to play the next game to find out more about the story!
Love the game premise. Feels awesome, with a few inconsistencies, but overall amazing game. The only thing I cant understand is how you are supposed to get the second times the charm achievement. More importantly, how does only one or two people have this achievement right now. What are you supposed to do to get this?

Ray, the confused man, will show up three times. He contributes nothing other than being a possible source of infection. He shows up unmasked, then masked, then with a filter. The correct way to handle him is to either ignore him entirely or to tell him no all 3 times. If let in while Hugo is in the house, he'll recognize him and have unique dialogue
Siliva is not a threat during her first or third she arrives. The first time she will simply give more information. The second, she will ask about Hugo. If told he’s in the basement, she’ll grab him and neutralize him for that playthrough. If told he’s inside your house, she’ll break in, causing a game over. On the third arrival, she’ll be off-putting and ask you if you’re your character name or your computer account name ( and she'll say you'll bloom soon and the current time on your computer if you say you're name is your computer account), but she is not a threat
A final door bell ring will show a path of mushrooms outside
If you don't want Silvia to get Hugo out of the basement, you can simply ignore the front door entirely
Noah will arrive and ask to be let in. After his first meeting, you can ask Onna about him and she’ll contradict his story, letting you talk to him more. If confronted about his lie, you have the option to tell him to get off your roof entirely
If Noah is not dealt with, his mask filter will run out and he’ll break through the window near Onna’s forth call and will attack you the next time you walk through the hallway.
Noah can be let in anytime before that. You need to let him in and let him break the window. At that point, entering the attic before the end of the storm will be a game over, unless you borrow his mask, letting you block the hole with a painting
If confronted on his lie, you call tell him to get off the roof and try somewhere else. He’ll leave and you’ll later hear him die outside. He will not attack if this is done
Hugo will knock three separate times.
On the second, he’ll ask for a Towel if told no.Taking one from the bathroom and giving it him will make him like you and, if let in at that point, will unlock his unique endings.
After the third knock, he’ll become infected and will infect you if let in.
During Silvia's second visit, if Hugo is still in the basement, you can rat him out to her and she’ll get him, stopping him from turning later.
If Hugo is not let in before his third knock or handed over to Silvia in the basement, he will turn after the third knock and attack around Onna’s forth call.
Onna will call four times. If one is ignored, she’ll say her first dialogue for the next one, which will prevent you from answering all four and cause a death. You need to pick up the phone all four times and give her the correct answer for her three questions. Getting any question wrong will either infect her and give her unique dialogue and an animation of busting thorough her window/stalking us after her next call, or will lead to her instantly attacking if the final call is failed.
The first one establishes her subplot: she has no internet access and needs us to answer questions for her on the infection.
Her second call is if it’s safe to drink tap water. The answer is yes, as the mold is not water soluble. Telling her to get a filter, open a window, or drinking nothing will get her infected.
Her third call is if it’s safe to turn on her heat pump (basically a window unit AC but for heat). The answer is no, as it’s not hot enough to kill the mold (It would have to be 100 C water boiling hot, and this would be room temp). Telling her that the air filter will work, that it’s hot enough, or that noise will attract spores will infect her
Her forth call is what to do with the Infected that’s trying to break into her house. The correct answer (per Silvia) is to lock herself in her bathroom. Telling her to leave the house, call the police (emergency services won’t come until after the storm), or to attack (unique dialogue/sprite and Bad Neighbor achievement) will get her infected and instantly cause a game over.

In this game, you will experience the horrors of a sporestorm, a new weather phenomenon that is becoming too common in the whole country of Spain. Heavy clouds that contain Mycopsychosis spores are approaching your area. If you want to survive, you have to stay inside your home and closely follow the PCD (plague control department) issued rules.Meet our small but charismatic cast of characters, engage and take care of them.

Repetitive scripts, predictable traps, and fixed outcomes inevitably make games feel stale after repeated playthroughs. True excitement comes from the unexpected - where every adventure is unique, driven by dynamic mechanics and endless possibilities. It's this element of surprise and discovery that keeps players engaged for hours, making each journey fresh and thrilling. After all, the real fun lies in venturing into the unknown!
Life’s forward momentum never pauses-time flows relentlessly, indifferent to our actions. This unstoppable progression mirrors certain game mechanics where movement is irreversible. In the context of 2D gaming, this often translates to constant forward motion: your character cannot simply freeze in place. Whether by design or physics, the inability to halt becomes a core challenge, forcing players to adapt and strategize in real time. The steps you take, much like time itself, cannot be undone-only navigated with precision.
