TJOC
Introduction

TJOC is a horror escape game adapted from the popular game Five Nights at Freddy. You will play as different members of the Cawthon family, facing five levels of varying difficulty, confronting the intrusion and pursuit of electronic dolls in different scenes of your home. Players must remain calm, relying on subtle sounds and careful observation to survive in the house, solving numerous puzzles using different objects in the environment without making a sound, and successfully escaping. The game's dark art style and narrative, coupled with unsettling sound effects, immerse players in a truly terrifying atmosphere, enhancing their sense of immersion.

Gameplay of TJOC:

You play as Nick Cawthon, Val Cawthon, Michael Schmidt and Scott Cawthon. There are 5 levels, called Forgotten Memories, in this gameplay. Your first memory is in the bedroom in which you will play as Nick. You will face challenges in the bedroom that are very difficult to learn on your first try. The second memory is in the living room, where you play as Val. Then, in the third memory, the office, you play as Scott Cawthon. The fourth memory is the basement, in which you play as Michael. The final memory is in the attic, where you once again play as Scott Cawthon.

You start off the night with Michael telling you how to ward off The Ignited, with each night containing the main cast from the first game: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and lastly, Foxy. The only exceptions to this are the basement and attic levels by a group of The Fallen; who are the endoskeletons of the ignited. You must use hearing, sightseeing skills, and (sometimes) pure luck to survive until 6:00 AM. Golden Freddy and Creation also appear on these two levels.

If the player completes the levels as efficiently as possible, the duration of each of them separately averages out to 10 minutes total, and about 50 minutes with the levels altogether.

Features of TJOC:

Scott and family viewpoints: You experience the story through Scott and his family. Each viewpoint shows personal moments inside the house during the dreadful night. This structure helps you follow what happens in different rooms and keeps the timeline clear as tension rises.

Home setting under threat: TJOC - The Joy Of Creation Story takes place inside the family home. Meanwhile, scorched beings of unknown origin become part of the night. You stay alert to sounds and movement as the situation shifts from quiet to dangerous with little warning.

Explore and uncover secrets: You explore to find secrets and clues that explain the events. Look around rooms, check corners, and notice small details. These findings gradually connect the story and guide progress without breaking the pace.

Uncertain motives of the scorched beings: TJOC - The Joy Of Creation Story keeps the scorched beings mysterious. Their origin and motives are unclear at first, and answers are hidden in the house. As you discover more, the picture forms and the situation becomes easier to understand.

Strategies of TJOC:

Freddy will appear at the window. He will start off by lurking at the side of the window, making a thud sound. Then he will look directly inside. You must then close the curtains until you hear a robotic moan, after which you can open them again. You can have the light on while dealing with Freddy. Freddy will not attack you while you are dealing with Bonnie or Foxy.

Bonnie will knock on the door to your right (when facing the window) three times, and then enter the room. When you hear the third knock, quickly turn off the light if it is on, then press space to sit down. Wait until you hear the door close before getting up. Tip: keep track of how many times Bonnie has knocked on door so that you know whether he is going to enter or not beforehand. Bonnie will never enter the room while you are dealing with Freddy.

Foxy spawn under the bed. When he becomes active, you will hear a scratching sound. This sound just signifies that he is there, and is nothing to worry about. After a short amount of time, the lamp will flicker and he will place his hook on the crib towards your left (when facing the window), making a sharp cling sound. When this happens, you must sit down, look up, and hold left click to close your eyes. You do not need to turn off the lamp. After a short while, you will hear a shuffling sound which indicates that he is gone. Tip: if Freddy is also attacking, be sure to get rid of him first before sleeping. Foxy will stand up in front of you, but don't panic, you still have time. After dealing with Freddy, quickly go to sleep before Foxy's eyes turn red, and wait till he leaves.

Chica resides in the closet behind you (when facing the window). The closet doors will make a creaking sound when she opens them, and she will look at you from there. Be wary, as this sound is different from the sound Bonnie makes when he opens his door. To counter Chica, simply turn off the lamp, and go about the night as normal. Failure to do this will result in her jumpscaring and stunning (but not killing) you, reducing your sanity by a considerable amount. However, if your sanity is already low (and the light next to Bonnie's door is red) while she jumpscares you, you will die.

To beat this night, prioritize. Respond to each of the given signals with the appropriate response. Since the game is designed not to screw you over, you can deal with one threat without having to worry too much about the other. Any downtime should be spent staring at the lamp. Above all, don't panic. This memory can be considered to be one of the easier ones, alongside the Office memory.

Conclusion:

The Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise has spawned a lot of remakes, ports, and spinoffs, and TJOCR -The Joy Of Creation Reborn is one of the better ones. It uses the series developer as the game’s protagonist and immerses the player in a mix of new and familiar elements. While the difficulty curve is slightly steeper than other games, the graphics, gameplay, and content all make it worth the effort.
