Princess Connect! Re: Dive is a role-playing game adapted from the anime. Gameplay:

Princess Connect! Re:Dive is a real-time action role-playing game. Players can form a party of up to five characters to participate in various modes such as main quests and player versus player (PvP) arena modes. New characters can be obtained via a gacha mechanic or can be exchanged with character-specific Memory Pieces (the latter is not possible for event-exclusive characters). Players are also able to form clans to qualify for participation in Clan Battles, which are similar to raid battles in a typical massively multiplayer online role-playing game, or freely chat with one another using text or in-game emojis in the clan room.Every playable character in the game has a regular attack, two Skills, an EX Skill, and one Union Burst. Players generally have no control over the activation of characters' skills and attacks, which are automatically activated at predetermined times based on character. EX Skills are stat-gaining skills that are activated on the start of each battle. A Union Burst is a powerful skill which, unlike other skills, can be manually activated by the player at any time the character's Union Burst Meter (also known as TP in-game) is full. However, all PvP arena modes are strictly on autoplay, where the character's Union Burst is activated as soon as their TP is fully charged.

You meet characters like Pecorine, Kokkoro, and Cal, and more than fifty are available overall. This gives you options to customize teams and explore side content.

Strategies:

Roll the 10-pull character gatcha three times minimum: In your first few days with the game, you’re going to get an absolutely insane amount of gems from clearing the main quests, daily missions, and the battle arena that can be spent on the gatcha. If you are F2P like myself, you’re going to be tempted to horde them. However, as things get harder, you’re going to need a solid spread of characters–hopefully with at least one 3 star character.

The best group composition for main quests is two frontline tanks and either 3 DPS or two DPS and a healer: At the start of the game, you can get away with picking only damage dealers and just smashing your way to victory. However, as time goes on and the enemies’ HP pool gets larger, battles become more drawn out and survivability becomes key. Having two tank characters in the front row–especially ones that automatically heal themselves like Pecorine or Miyako–becomes more and more necessary. Eventually, even that may not be enough and you’ll need to add a healer to the mix to keep the tanks alive.It’s also important to note that there are two kinds of damage in the game, magical and physical. Both your party and the individual enemies tend to be weak to one or the other. So if you’re ever stuck, it could just be you’re doing the wrong type of damage.

Don’t pay attention to tier rankings–those are for the end game: When you’re building your team, you might be tempted to look online and see which of the characters you have are “good.” This is a double-edged sword. A core group of English speakers have been playing the game since its Japanese release and so there are tier lists and party composition opinions all over the place. The problem is that the vast majority of these are geared toward the endgame–i.e., when the characters hit their level cap–and not when someone is just starting out. Some of the characters that serve you best while you level may be garbage in the end game–but you have to get to the end game for that to matter.  

Do everything you can to get to Rank 4 asap: By giving a character a full set of gear, you are able to have them “rank up.” Do this three times to any given character and everything changes. At Rank 4, characters gain the use of their second skill. Unlike unison attacks which depend on your blue bar filling up, skills happen regularly over the course of a battle. The addition of these second skills doubles the utility of many characters and allows you to plan more intricate team combinations.

Watch your bond cutscenes: While it’s easy to be so caught up in the grind that the story seems like a waste of time, be sure to watch your character bond cutscenes at the very least. After the first one of these, each subsequent one massively boosts one of the related characters’ stats. It’s a solid powerup you should not miss out on.

The game is amazing! The story is awesome, with lots of animated cut scenes. Every single character has their own personality and unique voice lines. Further more, there are special voice lines when certain character interacts with each other. The game mechanic is simple to understand, but it also has tons of stuff that require some research. On top of that, the game is really f2p friendly, the Devs sometimes just give away Gems for free. Overall, Definitely would recommend this.

70+ unique characters with their own stories. [+] Battle is more complex than you think, each character has unique skills, and every second of battle time is so precious. Bringing only powerful characters to party won't make you win. [+] Kind developer, events and lot more. You may find it hard to play (japanese), but you can check the english forums/wikis for translation.

Fully voiced game. Well polished sprite. The developer seem to put a lot of effort to this Gacha system is not great. It took 300pull to get the one you aim for. Not very friendly for new players. Especially, pulling duplicates won't get you that character's memory pieces, so it will take forever to star-up your low star characters. I had my worst luck when played this, yet still playing (refer to first line). Let see if I could unlock Saren (getting 145 memop) within 4 months of playing.

Easy to play, generous premium currency and quick daily tasks. I have played many F2P games like kantai collection, fate grand order and honkai impact 3, etc. I got bored after 2 weeks of those games. However Princess connect pulled me in with its light hearted story, to their colorful and adorable characters, that even after 14 months, I still keep coming back.
