Crusaders Quest is a classic RPG adventure game where players team up with goddesses to prevent the resurrection of apostles and save other goddesses and the world. Gameplay of Crusaders Quest:

This is not your ordinary Mobile RPG, where you use a Virtual D-Pad to move your character, and a whole bunch of buttons that you can bind your skills and many other useful items that you want to use quickly.In this game, the Heroes (the characters that you control), will move automatically in a straight line, from left to right across the screen. To use their spells and abilities you tap on the blocks that appear at the bottom of the screen (sort of like a puzzle). Due to this unique style, there are limitations to your adventuring, and your mobbing skills however, meaning that every block that shows up has a certain amount of strength, one block means that it will do the least amount of damage, two connected blocks, means that it will do a little more than just one, and finally connecting three of those blocks together will give you the full strength of that skill. So to do the most damage or healing, it is best to try to chain the ability to three blocks, therefore they will do the most damage or healing and will be the most effective.

RPGs are no fun without the ability of being able to PvP (Player vs. Player), therefore making it better. In Crusader's Quest, PvP is done through the Colosseum, where you have three tickets, and one is spent whenever you fight in the colosseum. The ticket is only used up once you have lost a match, so if you keep winning the ticket will be used up after 10 consecutive wins. If you use a ticket and do not start a match, than you will have about an hour before the ticket expires and you must use a new one to continue. As said before, the colosseum does reward you with Honor and meat, the higher up you achieve in the rankings and your matches, the more Honor and meat you will earn.

Tips and Tricks of Crusaders Quest:

Mix melee and ranged characters. In Crusaders Quest, your melee fighters run up to the front of the battle while your ranged characters hang back away from the action. If you have all ranged characters, you’ll get trounced by enemies. And if you only have melee characters, you’ll be unable to damage the enemy from a distance without the use of skills.

Have a healer. My goodness, it’s amazing how much difference a healer can make in this game. Since you’ll have a tank up front taking the damage, you’ll want to have a healer on tap so that enemies don’t break through your first line of defense.

Pick your skills wisely. Skills are so vitally important as you play through dungeons. My favorite options are giving a melee character a ranged special attack and making sure my ranged fighters have team boost skills. It will all depend on your playing style, but put some serious thought into your skill lineup as it’ll save you a lot of grief later.

Call a friend. If there’s a level that is just kicking your butt, then you can call in a hero from a friend. So if you’ve made some strong friends while playing, they can do the grunt work and allow you to level up some of your weaker characters.

Carefully time your special blocks. Yes, it’s absolutely important that you get combos of 2 and 3 special blocks so that you build up your skill meter. But just as importantly, enemies bounce around and you can also get knocked around the level, so you don’t want to misuse a special block, or miss completely because you didn’t get close enough to the enemy.

Train one character at a time. One of the major limitations that will keep you playing on and on is the lack of coins available to you. Playing levels and completing quests will help you get valuable money, and selling items helps too, but even then you’ll be sorely short on money. So you will have to big as choosy as possible when deciding which character/s to train. Don’t bother training 1 star characters and you should probably skip the 2 star characters as well.

Level up your weakest characters. Early on in playing, you get a jewel for maxing out a character’s level (level 10 for 1 star, level 20 for 2 stars, etc.). And this is the best way for you to accumulate the all-important jewels which serve as the dominant currency in the game. Because you’ll get a jewel for taking a 1 star character to level 10, that should only take a few runs in the dungeon.

But don’t promote your weakest characters. Limitation number 2 is on the amount of honor you can accumulate. It’s cruel how after you’ve gone through all the trouble of leveling up your characters how you’ll often end up waiting and selling other characters to gain an additional star. So skip promoting your 1 star characters – you can do better than that.

Jewels are for shopping. When shopping for a new character to add to your roster, using 250 honor only guarantees a character between 2 stars and 5 stars, whereas a purchase using 6 jewels guarantees a character between 3 stars and 4 stars. So the game is begging you to use jewels to shop for new characters. Not only that, but you can even get a 2nd character for the discounted price of 5 jewels, so save up 11 jewels and cross your fingers for the best.

So, I have been playing this for years now and when I discover this I was really shocked and happy that there is a pixel game like this. The design is so PERFECT (for me) just a bit sad when I got the news about this game (stop updating or such?) not sure, but overall if someone see this. Just so you know, you won't regret installing this game and give it a try there's so many cut scene and advancement you can get just by entering the game. Yuki out!

The game is very interesting because of how the story goes, a lot of events for you to play, characters to pick and level up, I know some people would say it's p2w, but if you put a little effort and not complain about it then you should be fine and trust me, I haven't put a single money in this game. Overall it's a good game, it has its flaws but manageable.

I have played this game over 4 years with pauses and it amazes me that everytime I get back to playing it, there are tons of new heroes, features, improvements. The game is still supported and maintained throughout the years also did I mention the game is super fun and addicting? I remember playing through the night because I wanted to hit rank 1 in coloseum really recommend it with all my heart. Kudos to developers for making this masterpiece. But there are some negatives but I hit the limit.

The art is just, I can't fathom enough how much I love RPG elements and story. So far I really enjoy everything, the app maybe big, but also worthwhile. Also i've only started yesterday and it's damn fun! Gameplay perspective, it's pretty easy and grinding levels and hero drops aren't as hard compared to other dungeon esq. games. Would highly recommend this for people who just appreciate graphics, art styles and the RPG genre for gameplay wise.
