Monster Hunter Now is an addictive role-playing game. Monsters appear in various environments, and their habitats are displayed on the map. Players need to collect resources to forge weapons and armor, and challenge monsters to obtain resources and improve themselves. The game also supports team-based modes to challenge high-difficulty bosses. Furthermore, it features AR functionality, allowing players to project the battle environment into the real world using a camera. And with its convenient playtime, you can play whenever you want!
Hunt Monsters in the Nearby Area
Monster Hunter Now utilizes real-world locations to place large monsters around the player. Players can find monsters in different habitats such as forests, deserts, and swamps, so moving between areas changes the monsters' appearance. This mechanism makes walking an integral part of the gameplay loop while ensuring that each hunt focuses on a specific objective.
Conduct Mobile Combat in Short Periods
The game uses tap controls designed specifically for mobile screens to control hunts. Each large monster hunt lasts a maximum of 75 seconds, so timing, dodging, weapon usage, and weak point attacks are crucial from the start. Therefore, the game aims to guide players to understand monster behavior patterns without requiring prolonged battles each time.
Gather Materials and Craft Equipment
Monster Hunter Now links game progress to materials obtained from hunting and gathering. Players can use these materials to forge and upgrade weapons and armor, creating more powerful gear to challenge stronger monsters. This makes each hunt meaningful, as new equipment affects the player's ability to handle the next target.
Choose weapons with different playstyles
You can build your combat system around weapon types such as sword and shield, long sword, bow, energy axe, gunlance, switch axe, hunting horn, and insect glaive. Each weapon will change how you move, control distance, and time your attacks. Since monsters also have elemental weaknesses, choosing the right weapon and armor can make short hunts easier.
Play with other hunters and save your targets for later.
Monster Hunter Now now supports solo hunting and team hunting with other nearby players. If you can't fight temporarily, your Palico's paintballs can mark monsters so you can return to the hunt later. In addition, Adventure Sync supports passive tracking, allowing you to track monsters while moving, making the game more intuitive and responsive to everyday movement.

Open Monster Hunter Now and set up your hunter profile so the game can locate you on the map.
Check nearby habitats and gathering points, then head towards any monsters or resources that appear within range.
Select a target monster, check your weapons and armor, and begin the hunt once you're ready.
During combat, use taps and dodges to attack, avoid taking damage, and aim for the monster's weak points before time runs out.
After the hunt, collect materials, upgrade your equipment, and when you want another target, you can use marked monsters or nearby party hunts.

As a 17-year veteran of the Monster Hunter series, I must say this game is truly different from others in the series. I've played every installment in the series, and I can confidently tell you this game is fantastic! If you're looking for a game that involves a lot of monster grinding and leveling up, I would absolutely recommend it. I've been playing since the beta and have witnessed its growth from just a few monsters to its current massive monster roster. The only monster missing now is the Sandstorm Dragon. If they added it, the game would be perfect. But seriously, this game is really great and incredibly fun. You can play all day long, and you get 10 healing potions a day. Or, if you manage to collect 15, it might be a little difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can play for weeks on end without worrying about running out of potions. Right now, I might be the only one using the lance, but there are many interesting weapons in the game that combine wonderfully with certain builds, making it a really fun and exciting experience. I personally want to express my gratitude to the game's developers. I also want to express my gratitude to the Pokémon GO team for bringing us this masterpiece.
This game is definitely one of my favorites. I've been playing it for years. It has incredibly high replay value, and the monster battles are rich and varied. The game content is abundant and enjoyable. You really should add it to your collection.
This game demonstrates high quality in every aspect, and it's clear the developers themselves love playing it. From the major content updates every few months to the thoughtful and practical feature optimizations every few weeks, this is truly a high-quality mobile game. Thank you, MH team!
