Role

Tanjiro Kamado - A kind-hearted boy, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister back into a human. He uses the Water Breathing technique as well as the Hinokami Kagura, and has an excellent sense of smell.

Nezuko Kamado - Tanjiro's younger sister, who has been turned into a demon. Thanks to both Urokodaki's hypnotic suggestion and her own willpower, she fights to protect humans. After conquering sunlight, she is able to be active during the daytime.

Zenitsu Agatsuma - A swordsman in the Demon Slayer Corps and one of Tanjiro's peers. Wielder of the Thunder Breathing technique. Shinobu Kocho - A member of the Demon Slayer Corps' highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira. The Insect Hashira. Has exceptional knowledge of medicine and fights using a special poison that can defeat demons.

Tips

Parrying is a great mechanic to learn while fighting normal demons. You can end battles pretty quickly by doing a perfect parry and pressing the indicated button when prompted.

While you can't spam the parry move quickly, once activated the movement's window is a bit generous. Try to train it while fighting normal demons.

When your enemy activates a buff — performs an animation and receives a red aura —, it's best just to avoid attacks. Even if you can still damage them, you will be exposed to more damage. After a brief moment, the buff will wear out and your opponent will be left in a vulnerable state, ready to receive your hits.

During some specific battles, like the one against the Father Demon in Chapter 5, you can put an enemy into a vulnerable state by attacking them many times in a row.

Always check the marks on the ground while your enemies charge their attacks. If you stay away from the radius, you're safe.
