Pokémon Champion is a strategy battle game designed for Pokémon fans. Players take on the role of trainers, using different Pokémon to battle against players worldwide. Strategically utilize different Pokémon skills to defeat your opponents, earn rich rewards, and improve your ranking to compete against the world's top players. The game supports a private battle mode, allowing you to invite friends for a friendly match, hone your skills, and strengthen your bond. Players can also log in to Pokémon HOME with their account to begin a legendary adventure.
Global ranked play: Test your skills against players worldwide and see how far you can climb on the competitive ladder.
Casual matches: Want something lighter? Hop into relaxed bouts where you can try ideas, practice, or just play for fun.
Private battles: Share a room with friends or family for invite-only matches. Perfect for bragging rights at home or quick sparring sessions.
Bring old friends: Link with Pokémon HOME to team up with certain Pokémon you’ve already befriended elsewhere.
Mobile-first feel: Snappy matches and simple controls make it easy to jump in for a round whenever you have a minute.

Bring Back Old Favorites: Transfer certain Pokémon from Pokémon HOME and reunite with trusted companions collected throughout previous games.
A Personal Connection: Every transferred Pokémon carries memories from past adventures. It adds emotional weight to every battle and victory.
Knowledge Becomes Power: Learning strengths and weaknesses helps you gain advantages during difficult encounters. Smart decisions often outperform raw power.
Creative Team Synergy: Combine abilities and moves to create devastating strategies. Building a balanced squad feels incredibly rewarding.
Mind Games Everywhere: Predicting your opponent creates tension and excitement. You feel your heart race as both trainers wait for the next move.

Transfer Pokemon From Pokemon Home: First and foremost, while you don't have to do this to play the game, it is highly recommended. The majority of players will be transferring Pokemon from a variety of games that they've trained, designed move sets for, and fully customized to carry out their specific strategies. This is not the kind of thing you want to go up against with a newly recruited Pokemon that still has all the default moves it came with, especially when recruit pulls are ten random Pokemon. So, even if they still have some aspects that need to be adjusted, you should make an effort to transfer some of your champion Pokemon from other games.Additionally, Mega Eternal Flower Floette is considered part of the meta for Pokemon Champions at the moment and must be transferred in from Pokemon Legends: Z-A to use. So, if you finished Z-A and managed to get this Pokemon and its Mega Stone, that might be one to consider sending over.
Reaching Champion Rank For Free Is Possible, But It Will Require Patience: While Pokemon Champions does preface that you can enjoy the game in full without spending any money, and that's not necessarily a lie, it's not giving you the full extent of the truth either. No, Pokemon Champions isn't pay-to-win on the surface, as all the items and Pokemon provided in the Premium Battle Pass can be unlocked through other means. However, what isn't as plainly obvious about the game is that while you can earn all those things in Pokemon Champions without spending money, it will take you significantly longer to unlock Pokemon and items than someone who has bought the Battle Pass or transferred Pokemon from Pokemon Home, which requires you to have bought other Pokemon games.Plus, there is at least one case that we know of where you can't obtain a Pokemon through any other means besides transferring from Pokemon Home. Mega Eternal Flower Floette, part of Pokemon Champions' meta, requires a transfer from Pokemon Legends: Z-A and is exclusive to that game, so if you don't have it, then you're simply out of luck.Despite not being pay-to-win, there is a clear advantage given to those who have purchased and played other Pokemon games, most of which cost around seventy dollars, or those willing to pay for the Battle Pass. Now, even without those advantages, things will become more balanced as you accrue more Pokemon from Roster Ranch and train them, but you will have to work a little harder and get more creative early on to reach higher ranks if you're opposed to spending any money at all.
Trial Every Pokemon, Even If You Plan To Recruit Permanently: When you get your free pull from Roster Ranch, you'll have the option to trial or permanently recruit one Pokemon from the ten they present you with. Renting them for seven days as a Trial Pokemon is free, but permanently recruiting them costs 2,500 VP or one Teammate Ticket.Even if none of the Pokemon appeal to you, use the free opportunity to try out a Pokemon you normally wouldn't. There are no consequences, and that Pokemon could even become a new favorite. That said, the option to permanently recruit isn't limited to when you initially claim your Pokemon. At any point during the seven-day trial, you'll have the option to recruit that Pokemon from your box permanently, which is why you should accept every Pokemon from Roster Ranch as a trial Pokemon. For one thing, this keeps you from having to spend VP up front, and you have time to earn more if you can't afford it yet. But the primary reason for this decision is that you don't actually know how well a Pokemon is going to perform until you have a chance to look over its stats and try them out.You may have an abundance of VP now and see no point in waiting, but it's used for several things in the game and will disappear quickly. So, if you waste it on Pokemon you end up not using, then you'll have a harder time winning matches, which in turn means you'll have a harder time recouping the VP you spent.

This game is absolutely amazing! The battles are fun, the graphics are beautiful for being a mobile port, and any microtransaction in this game is COMPLETELY optional and will not effect your "free to play" playthrough whatsoever. Though one thing I will say, is that I personally cannot link my Nintendo account to this game without the game restarting once I do so, undoing the linking process to my Nintendo account. I hope there is some way I can fix this, but otherwise, great game altogether!
WE NEED A BIGGER BOX! PLEASE! The box can only hold 50 pokemon that is not a lot of space, we need more space like 100 or 75. I like this game but I wish there's more pre-battle poses and clothes / hair / eyes. Almost everyone looks the same. And I wish there was a graphics settings this game heats up the phone really fast I can't play it for long. I hope to see updates soon it's a really nice game.
It's an absolutely amazing game. Although not as legendary as Showdown or Coloseum, it is still a GREAT platform. a great variety to choose from, beginner-friendly, sort of addicting. My only flaw is that the graphics on mobile are not as good as anything else. Plus, it takes a great deal of storage. But otherwise, if you look to have fun against players around the world, I highly recommend it.
it's fun and easy to go. just straight up building teams and battle is great. the way you don't drop everything in the same time is a good strat. that way, pure new players can easily learn Pokemon battle without getting overwhelmed. please make sure in the future to input more items, Pokemons and unevolved forms to enable some strat like eviolite. because this advertised to be free to play, it is better to increase the max box size for f2p, make it 80 or 100 w/ simple quests. I like it so far.
Pokémon Champions also feels friendly to different skill levels. Newer players can use it to learn battle basics, understand why certain team ideas fail, and get more comfortable with roles, abilities, and move coverage. More competitive players get a focused space where every choice matters a bit more. In that sense, it works like a test room for your strategy, except the test can hit back.
